The housekeeper was very sweet and the rooms are cozy. I really enjoyed my stay there. The only thing that could be better is that the whole house is not soundproof at all but it was always quiet by 10 or earlier, so it wasn?t actually a problem.

I really needed a couple of days away after a bereavement. I went alone as a female traveller, I needed peace and quiet and somewhere I felt safe and comfy and I am so very pleased I went to the Camelot retreat. I didn't have alot of funds so I went there as I hadn't alot of money but also reviews and a personal recommendation. I returned home so much more relaxed and this I believe was the home from home feeling, the welcome I received, the location is fab too. If you are someone that doesn't like rooms that are uniform and sterile, this is for you it honestly was lovely to be here. I had a reading and healing when there. It's not a posh hotel it is my opinion better . I would recommend to anyone especially when you need time to rewind from life's tragedies and stress... I would be back there weekly if I could ... thank you for a lovely companyRooms: Very comfortable, I loved them they felt like a home not hotelNearby activities: Town 3 minute drive away .Tor and other sights close bySafety: Felt very safe. Like I say lone traveller bit no issued

Stayed here for one night while visiting my brother in a care home. Nice quiet place, clean room, very comfy bed, best bed I think I've ever slept in! Sam was friendly and helpful. The only thing for me was the breakfast, I do prefer having it cooked and included in the price, but I understand the concept of Camelot Retreat, and I had no bother making myself something to eat before I left.

Great stay. Glastonbury is special and wonderful. This also applies to Camelot retreat. Nice room. Friendly host. A special feature is a separate beautiful meditation room.

Warm welcome, nothing was too much trouble, clean and comfortable house with a beautiful meditation room., beautiful atmosphere, with fabulous treatments on offer.I travelled here alone and had the most wonderful experience. Close to the Tor and Chalice Well gardens, with the town also within walking distance.I highly recommend Camelot Retreat, and will look forward to returning many times.Much more than a guest house

It should be noted that breakfast inc in the price is actually provided as self-catering meaning try to find something to eat yourself in the fridge/cupboard, make it yourself & wash up afterwards. Considering that, what we paid (£70 a night - twin room) was rather exorbitant and even more so when the owner had lowered the prices prior to our stay yet still charged us the same. The part of the house used for B&B quite small but there is a nice meditation room with crystals although rather cluttered with all the pics of Sathya Sai Baba & other paraphanalia. Location within walking distance to the tor which is why we chose it, but we won't be staying here again as it's more geared to a retreat for people who stay in their rooms & go to bed at 9pm.

Stayed there back in 2015. Great place to be.

Plus: friendly owner, comfortable dining room, kitchen, and meditation room. Good sized bath in the shared bathroom. Good location for walking to the Tor and the town.Minus: no lock on the room door. A little bit expensive for what you get. As is usual in small British guest houses and hotels the heating is only on at certain times of the day.

It's ok. Never met the owner, looked like she's not been there for years, just has a young girl running it for her. Needs a bit of love and attention, but served it's purpose! :)
