“Very nice staff and helpful however they seemed oblivious of Nationwide's rules that now say I am allowed money from my savings for 'food but not a sofa' and that all visits to the branch have to be triaged before they can transfer money between my own accounts. I am not sure what has happened to Nationwide as an organisation it really has lost its way regarding customer services. If I can't transfer money from my saving to current account then they charge exorbitant over draft rates......if you have £5000 in the savings account for a year, you earn basically enough for a Mars bar but go overdrawn and they want a daily rate that would shame a loan shark.”
