I?d like to compliment the service I got today. I walked into pub and was greeting politely and professionally by a gentleman called John. We didn?t have a reservation but he sorted a table for us and made us feel welcome.
We were given perfect amount of time before a drinks order was taken and on bringing them asked if we needed further tine for food consideration. We didn?t do he took our order.
Fantastic service - thank you

We booked an overnight stay as having a girls weekend in Bath. I chose this hotel for the location, value and from previous reviews. Firstly the staff were all very warm, welcoming and professional. The hotel is a stones throw walking distance to the local bus stops ( bus goes straight through to Bath £3 pp each way) our bedroom was let's say a little dated as such and needed a little TLC but it was clean and tidy, basic necessities in place and spacious for a twin. We enjoyed our breakfasts, plenty on the menu to choose from too. We really enjoyed our stay there and would definitely go back but remember it is a old property, a hotel with a public bar/restaurant in it and needs a little TLC here and there.

Rooms: Travelled as a large group, so had a variety of rooms between us.
Rooms were out dated, and not well maintained.
Bathroom ceilings had mould on.
Walls had paint pealing off and plaster missing.
Tiles and sink in one of the bathrooms was cracked.
There was wallpaper was hanging of the ceiling.
Would not recommend to stay here at all. However the restaurant food was lovely.

We?ve been here before and had a really nice breakfast. Not sure if there?s new owners but the service we received tonight was nothing short of absolutely awful!
The roast dinner we received wasn?t much better than a meal I?d expect to eat in a prison. Pigs in blankets were cold, meat was almost inedible, roast potatoes flavourless.
The chap who got us the bill failed to ask if we were satisfied with the food, just gave us the bill which I begrudged paying.
Overall an unpleasant experience at the woolpack. We won?t be returning, which is a shame as it?s such a nice building in a great location.
