Staying in the area whilst visiting from Sheffield.
Had ciabatta sandwiches and they were very nice and fresh, lovely.
If we lived closer we would visit often!

A very popular venue and with good reason. I have been twice once for lunch and once for breakfast. Both are very good for portion size and quality. For breakfast you wait to be seated which was about two minute wait. Orders taken withi five and served withi 10 and it was very busy. Four stars simply as for two it was £30 including coffee. This aspect of my summery is personal as I'm not convinced to good value but if your not so fussy about the value aspect or think it's a fair price in this day and age then you would not be dissapointed with the full English, it's about as good as there is.

Excellent food in a lovely setting at very competitive prices, most of the produce comes direct from the farm so a low carbon footprint.Highly recommended.

Can you please explain why I paid £14.95 for haddock and chips, but had to pay £1.75 for a small pot of tartar sauce? My companions paid £10.95 for fish cakes and they were give tartar sauce in included in the price!!Who has ever heard of having fish and chips and having to pay for tartar sauce, a complete rip off, what a shame
