Brilliant village shop!

Nice place alongside the river. Seemingly the only convenience store in 50 miles. Good range of products but I'd like to see a meal deal as my lunch cost me over £8. (Sandwich crisp coke + cheap orange juice). Which is a shame as the sandwiches weren't really worth shouting about. The bread was unusually firm and the chicken bacon deli fillet was same as at the co op.
Parking is somewhat enough, there were a lot of cars out front with only 1 other customer in the shop at the time. Enough for 2 cars at the time.
Arrangement is a bit over the place. I expected to find soft drink with the sandwiches and orange juice but they were with the alcohol fridge...
Otherwise the experience was fine and would use again as there's no other shop nearby.

Much more than a Spar ? superb meat, well butchered, well and locally sourced; fresh vegetables, local cheeses and organic dairy, honeys, jams. Always wanting to know how they can better give the village what it needs from its shop. Superb.

Really good for a village store. Not the biggest range in the world, but has the essentials at very reasonable prices. Cash only, though with a free cash machine.
