I recently visited the Frome Branch for some advice about Saving Accounts and the staff were all very nice and helpful. I would like to thank Jack who was very informative and set up an account for me.

I've only been in twice as needed printed statements, but both times the staff have been very helpful, polite, & cheerful. So nice compared to some places. Would definitely recommend this branch.

I mainly use the online banking to handle my transcation but when it comes to cash deposit I have to visit the bank in person. The bank's limited weekday hours with a 45-minute lunch break from 1-1:45pm, present a major inconvenience for most customers. This restricted schedule clashes with standard working hours, making it tricky to visit the branch. The staff at this branch are nice and helpful though.
Despite these issues, this is one of the last remaining bank branches in the town, hence a 5-star rating in support of the local community. The bank could consider installing an ATM with deposit functionality that is accessible to the public outside of regular business hours. This would help make up for the limited in-person service hours.

Nationwide boasts it isn't closing branches but if you work Monday to Friday and can't get to the bank then why aren't you open Saturday. Going to switch to Coventry building society they can be bothered to open Saturday and the interest rates are better.

Tried to get a cheque online phoned customer service did not know how to help suggested going to a branch where you can get one immediately. Went to Frome 20 mile round trip, why is everyone trying to get everything done online. The experience I received was worth traveling for, I am so pleased that I could not print it out. Thank you for such a lovely friendly efficient service that I received from the young man who served me. I hope that other people have trouble like me or there will no longer be any need for the helpful young man who sorted out my problem then what do we do?

We are lucky to have this branch in Frome. I have always found staff extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.Most bank branches could learn a thing or two from a visit.

Just wasted 14 miles worth of diesel getting to their Frome branch only to discover early closing 2pm. Why not text your customers in future.

Came into the bank yesterday to ask to set up a standing order and the lady I the counter with glasses was very rude and patronising. Was not helpful at all
