“Huge menu and warm friendly service.
Eaten in here many times. Never had a bad meal. First time we enjoyed a selection of delicious tapas followed by a shared sirloin steak, which we cooked ourselves on the provided hot stone—a fun and interactive experience. (Note: The stone gets very hot!) A variety of sauces were available; we tried the 'monkey sauce', an unexpectedly delicious and unique flavor. The cocktails, however, were a bit underwhelming. Our daiquiri lacked fresh lime and real strawberries, and none of the drinks were garnished. A simple lime wedge would have significantly elevated the presentation. Blue moon available on tap and served with an orange slice.
Other times we've dined, we have had burgers lasagne and ribs. All big portions and delicious.”

“Small travelodge on the outskirts of the village of Beckington and within easy reach of Frome. Petrol station with M&S selling food and a Starbucks on site.We had a ground floor room backing onto woodland.Very quiet.Clean,spacious family room.If you run out of tea, coffee etc you can help yourself to more at reception.Parking ok but rather busy.Easy walk to Beckington village where there is a good pub for evening meal.”

“I’d like to compliment the service I got today. I walked into pub and was greeting politely and professionally by a gentleman called John. We didn’t have a reservation but he sorted a table for us and made us feel welcome.

We were given perfect amount of time before a drinks order was taken and on bringing them asked if we needed further tine for food consideration. We didn’t do he took our order.

The room itself is stylish and unique, allowing us to create a wonderful atmosphere for the event. A special thank you to Gemma, our host, who was absolutely fantastic. She was incredible and helped us set up the room exactly as we wanted it for the special event, making the whole process stress-free. We had a truly wonderful evening and would highly recommend Archangel for private events. Gemma's support was a real highlight!”
