Cool venue! First time I have been and I loved it and am hoping to go back soon. Went to see 2 cover bands. The stereophonics cover band were absolutely brilliant and we had a great night. Drinks were reasonably priced and we had a nice giro from the van out the front. Went back the next morning for the market in the building and frome town centre and that was well worth it too. Could do with more toilets really for the volume of people

It is a popular restaurant. Bit noisy but that can be expected as it is a popular place. The drinks and food are served speedily and all looks professional and staff are really helpful and friendly.

Great venue BUT the cafe/bar is closed. There is VERY limited seating outside the cafe/bar. They aren't serving coffee in the foyer bar until 6.45 so I've been forced to have a cold drink. In bloody January. I'm not very impressed about that because their alcohol's expensive ?

I have been to the 'Cheese and Grain' venue in Frome, Somerset twice in the last year. My mate and I saw 'Airbourne' (supported by 'Gorilla Riot') and more recently 'Massive Wagons' (supported by the 'New Roses' - from Frankfurt). I think in all honesty Airbourne was too heavy metal to play there as the sound wasn't great - bounced off the rounded roof. However, with Massive Wagons and New Roses the sound was was perfect. It's a great place to see live music in Somerset. Great place to rock. There is an excellent line up of bands of all genres, so do check out their website - I'm sure you'll find something to suit you.Parking is right outside - plenty of it, and free after 6pm. Perfect. There are 2 bars in the venue and we've never had to queue for drinks more and a moment or two. This music venue in super close to the town centre, but is just a few hundred yards (metres) from the shopping area, so you could spend an afternoon wandering the eclectic shops, then have a meal then head over to the venue.Be warned ... there is no cheese and no grain ... just good live music which we all need a dose of to keep us sane. Don't forget to buy some band merch' as this is how these bands keep going these days - they don't get much from Spotify. Keep rockin' !Highly recommended.
