Absolute cracker of a place! A genuine quintessential English country pub with a menu that?s awesome! Can?t talk high enough about this place. The chefs food is restaurant quality to say the least and the mostly young bar staff are very ahead of their time! We?ll keep returning!!!

Came here for food and drinks, best food I?ve had in a long long time! Staff were so accommodating to my fussy needs. Good atmosphere and Ellie was exceptional beautiful server inside and out. 100% recommend

The new owners have done an amazing job. The atmosphere was really nice and the food was just outstanding. We had Thai curry and the daily special with some cocktails. Very highly recommend. We will be back for a dinner with the family soon! Thank you to all the team!

Had a Sunday lunch last week taken there by my grandchildren for my birthday
Was disappointed there was no chicken on the menu but was lucky as they Cooked chicken breast for the 2 girls to go with the roast they had no roast parsnips that were on the menu it was roast beef or pork turned out that the roast pork was a small chunk of belly pork they had no stuffing and to finish no cheese cake
So all in all not a good experience felt sorry for my grandchildren

This has become a regular for my wife and I. We stop in for a drink on a Friday evening and play a few rounds of dominoes. Great ambience. I cannot personally comment on the food but there are always plenty of diners.

Visited for a Sunday lunch. Food was delicious with roasted root veg and cauliflower cheese and greens.The two young men on duty were polite and friendly and managed to make us and another table laugh with his story of his experience of making an Expresso Martini!Overall a very good and enjoyable visit.
