We went for our daughter's 18th Birthday. This review is no reflection on the staff who were great but unfortunately the food was massive let down. I personally had a mixed grill which was like warm at best and very dry and bland. Fried eggs were hard and the gammon was like trying to eat a block of salt ( taste and texture wise) all the good was not very warm. The 3 people who had burgers said they were dry and tasteless and the fries were hard. All in all I think 1 of the meals out of 9 was acceptable. Considering the price I would expect a lot better. The only plus side to our visit was the staff were great.
We didn't complain at the time because we didn't want to ruin our daughter's birthday celebrations but we emailed the restaurant afterwards and unfortunately they ignored it and did bit reply.
On this experience I would not recommend coming here

Ordered food/good then was told no colli cheese/ and something else was un available BUT still charged the full price so as a regular make sure you check out the full order first before paying as was told it was a listed price ???

We had a 70th birthday meal with a family of 11.

Good portion size on all the food quite busy when we went on a Friday lunchtime probably advised to book to guarantee a table especially if wet. Beer garden was full . Would go again if in the area.

Always good value for money and tasty food with friendly staff. I had steak and kidney pudding this time , very tasty with mash and peas, hard to find fault with it so 5star all round. This was lunchtime special.

We (19 of us from age 2 to over 70) celebrated my Big Birthday with Sunday lunch and a thoroughly good time was had by all! From the first enquiry back in March to the settling of our bills, everything was perfect. The service was friendly, efficient and yet unobtrusive. The meals were all well cooked and delicious. A huge thank you to all the staff who were there on Sunday 1st June and coped so we'll with my family en masse. We will definitely be back.

From booking over the phone to top notch food and lovely attentive service this place was the perfect place for a family get together of 19 adults and 2 toddlers, even a playground outside. Thanks so much Farrington Inn for making a family birthday meal so special.Recommend 100%

Took our grandchildren for lunch after a morning at Farrington Farm. The food portions are generous and it's tasty too. The best thing though is the price, less than £40 for the four of us with drinks as well.
