Absolutely stunning little pub tucked away in a gorgeous village, hidden up a small street to the church. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming and just what you want a local country pub to be. Low ceilings and a huge fire place with lucky coins hammered in to the woodwork. The staff was wonderful throughout the visit and the locals are cheery and chatty. The food was delicious and presented like any top notch restaurant. Overall the perfect little find and worth a visit even if it?s a small drive away!

Amazing food and super friendly staff. They were full when we showed up, but the owners went out of their way to make sure we could get a table and be fed. The food was so tasty and flavorful. So glad we found this gem and made the drive out for dinner while staying in Devon.

We visited Woods recently on a trip to the UK. I called and booked a couple of days prior and advised them that my wife is a vegan. They told me that they would have something for her. When we arrived they had produced a whole vegan menu. My wife was thrilled. The food was exquisite, both the vegan items and the regular and service was outstanding. We would have returned on the Sunday night but they were closed. Highly recommended.

Pretty much the only good restaurant that we've found on Exmoor,so it tends to get very busy at the weekend. Its vital to book ahead, its quite a small place. Food is very good, service was ok, we felt that we had been forgotten at one point, but chilled out and went with it. 2nd time we've been as a couple, there aren't many tables for two and we were certainly cramped on the table we were assigned. Great wine list for such a small place and the atmosphere is very pleasant, it can get a bit noisy due to the close confines, but I'd certainly go back.

The food and service in woods is amazing!.. I?d highly recommend a visit if you?re passing through Dulverton!.. unreal food !! .. plus the new owners Paul and carol are lovely!
