Stayed her recently on a stop on the way to Cornwal and had a lovely evening in the restaurant and relaxing stay! Have previously stayed at the Beckford Arms (part of the same group) and was equally impressed with the quality of the rooms and personal service from all of the staff. Er had an excellent meal on the Thursday evening, with particular highlights being the ham hockey croquettes and monkfish goujons! Breakfast was also really tasty with a nice range of continental on offer, plus freshly made hot food breakfast to order. Coffee was also really good (extra bonus)! Great place to stay for a country get away

Beautiful Country lnn set in the Town of Hinton St.George, a local pub in a small village town offering an amazing Sunday Dinner. Absolutely the best I?ve had in a long time. They should go to #sandringham and show them how to cook a good Sunday roast. It truly was delicious. The staff are all lovely and went out of their way to settle me in the perfect spot. The ginger beer was also perfect. Liked the touch of lime juice! To Luke,John and Rosie we need to work on the #SconeAsInGone. Thanks for your great service Jess, Neve, Erin and Emily. It was a pleasure. I looked at my bill and the drinks are a little pricey. £11 for 1/2 a shandy and Ginger beer. Good thing that #sundaydinner was absolutely delicious! I just found my receipt again : and Actually the drinks were very reasonable, it was the #servicecharge that was unexpected. I guess they feel that even from a single dinner, they want a tip. And being like most people, I didn?t actually really look at the bill when I payed. In North America they like you to add on 10-25% of the bill as a tip, but it is an option. In #italy there is a table charge. This was a bit #sneaky!

We visited the beautiful village of Hinton St. George and have to say we walked past this pub as i thought we would find another pub in Dinnington...........how wrong we were! luckily we walked past again and I managed to take a peek at the garden as it was a sunny day, it was enough to convince me it was worth a visit......that was just the start, as we entered the pub it looked amazing and the garden was a real surprise even after I took a peek over the fence........as pub gardens go you would struggle to find a nicer one in the area, unfortunately we didn't sample the food but it looked amazing, we had a couple of drinks and a few games of boules in the garden, I could have stayed there all afternoon tbh and a bit sad I didn't but we had a nice time and I really hope I can visit again ? this pub is absolutely definitely positively on my list as one of THE best pubs I have ever been to.........stunning and the good people of Hinton St. George are very lucky to be able to visit it regularly! ?

We stayed here last night after our wedding and the staff could not have been more welcoming. The manager Jon was particularly friendly and helpful. We stayed with our dog and we had treats and a dog bowl in our room waiting for us which was a lovely touch. The service was fantastic, for example, we asked for pint glasses for our bouquets and they didn't even bat an eyelid. Nothing was too much trouble. We had breakfast the next morning, including dog friendly sausages for our dog. The breakfast was lovely, the poached eggs were absolutely spot on! Overall, 10/10 can't fault it and we will definitely stay here again! Thank you Jon and team!

We stayed for a night and had dinner and breakfast. We were met by Jon, a jolly landlord! The room fine - if you like the bath in the bedroom! Dinner was superb. We didn't try the cooked breakfast but what we had was delicious - there was a fruit salad! Service was great. Car parking is in the road outside the hotel. It was pricey but we enjoyed our stay.
