Such a shame to be adding this as I've been going here for nearly 20 years for meals. But Saturday carvery last week gave my father horrendous food poisoning. Confirmed by doctor at a hospital! He did add a review but it has been deleted.
This is purely feedback to do better, it's not an attack on the business, but you can't delete reviews, that defeats the object!
Please tell the staff / cooks to do better with the cooking and cleanliness.

Carvery run of the mill. Adequate but nothing special. small plate option ordered as I only wanted a light lunch . Similar quality to the Toby chain. £9 reasonable price

all round good food & nice place to eat. i did find the carrots were quite hard & cauliflower cheese rather tasteless. apart from that i will definitely be returning

Very rude member of staff I believe his name was Louis? (He had a crucifix tattoo) He was extremely miserable when bringing our food to the table and when we asked for some extra sauce he just said ?Yea? then I caught him giving us the middle finger? then after this he walks past my nan and says ?Link?what does that even mean!!

Excellent family friendly place. The carvery was brilliant. The staff were excellent even with my wife asking questions about her allergies. We will be come back the next time we are here.
