Very friendly people, lovely atmosphere, the landlord is very friendly. Pub quiz for Charity on a Sunday evening is brilliant ? we have yet to eat a meal here, but we will.

Terrible experience, owner was extremely rude from the start, we asked for a kids menu and he said if we wanted one the star up the road had one. Then they took our order and we sat outside in the large garden. Told the kids to have a look around and the owner came out and told us our kids weren't allowed to use the garden and had to be seated with us resulting in him telling us it wasn't child friendly and were happy to refund us. We are now sat in the Congresbury arms down the road having a far better experience with amazing food and service

Only drank in The Plough on a Sunny ?? Saturday evening visit
Parking ?? was tricky small car park and busy, not helped by the Pub Large bins being badly positioned in the area and occupying a parking bay.
Ordered a Diet Coke that turned out was flat , served in a dirty rimmed glass in a old badly stained Coca Cola branded glass, and only 3/4 ?s full, for no reason given ??!!!
Sat out in the Beer Garden area, that was nice & large in size, shame the picnic tables had not been maintained properly and were chipped and splittered in places and could have done with a good jet washing to tidy them up a bit??
Lots of seemingly unnecessary chalk boards telling you what to do or not to do!!!
More effective would have been paying more attention to the Beer Garden picnic tables?
Looked at the menu, but in light of the Diet Coke issues, decided to eat elsewhere.

This is an old style pub with a good selection of beers and traditional pub food. The landlord is very friendly and welcoming. Food might entail a slightly longer wait than normal but it?s worth it. Just allow a bit of extra time and don?t rush

?We Had a fantastic meal last night at The Plough Inn! We enjoyed a classic ham, egg, chips and pees- simple, hearty, and absolutely delicious. This is proper country pub food at its best! The service was, as always, exceptional, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere made the experience even better. The staff are wonderful, and I believe the owner, Gary, is a truly lovely man who clearly takes great pride in his pub.
