Refused a repeat prescription on a minor skin condition over the phone. Wanted photographs via app then still had to make another appointment to see DR. 60 secs with Dr, quick glance just like the photos would have shown ?oh yeah no probs I?ll repeat prescription? complete waste of everyone?s time yet they happily moan their overworked.

Utter shambles. Comunication between departments is terrible. Its so bad I think it could be dangerous in certain circumstances!

** Edit to add**
When I was pregnant I had server bleeding. The midwives gave me some urgent prescriptions. I HAND DELIVERED them myself to the practice only to find out a couple of days later they had lost them. I then had another prescription and after complaining to them they said they will make sure they get this one.... guess what... they lost this prescription too!! No joke!!! The practice manager even assured me they had it after I handed it to them and called to check they got ot in the system. Absolute joke!

Impossible to get through to get an appointment. If and when you do get through there are never any appointments for the same day.
The clinic suggests you use econsult to get an appointment quicker. That's a joke! I submitted an econsult request and it's been a week and I'm still waiting for an the Sunnyside Clinic to contact me despite having to send them a reminder every single day!
It's just impossible to be seen by them!

Taken almost a year to receive a diagnosis for life ruining health issues despite being told constantly that I had been tested for everything already and even being told by one doctor I should more or less give up and accept that this would be my life from now on. Only helpful Dr was Sophie Cassley who?s been lovely.
I also had a judgmental and rude receptionist this morning. I?ve been prescribed a hefty course of antibiotics over text message so I wasn?t given an opportunity to speak to the Dr about the antibiotics. I called up so I could ask some questions, specifically if I am ok to mix the antibiotics with supplements I am taking. Received a frosty response from receptionist, made me feel like I was asking something highly unreasonable and I was asked why I was taking all these supplements. Maybe because your surgery took over a year to diagnose me with anything and I?ve needed the support?!

I'm sure that they're great in their own time. They haven't served my family well, so I'm heavily biased...

Vile obnoxious woman on the appointment booking line. Seemed to to take pleasure in being unhelpful. Totally incompetant at her job.

I want to complain about this GP practice. I went to get GP appointment but receptionist told me no need GP our pharmacist will call you within 4hrs no body call me yet 24 hrs gone. I ask fit note GP saying I have to wait 7 days. This is very rude. They don?t care about my health. #NHS#Avon-council#GP#

The reception staff could not have been more helpful . I had concerns for my father's health as he had just come out of hospital and seemed quite unwell still. They took details of my concerns and said he would be contacted some time on the same day. I believe with all the upheaval and issues the NHS and doctors are experiencing at the moment this was not unreasonable. He had a call from the practice within 30 mins and an appointment within the hour. The young lady he saw was very thorough and empathetic. She was never dismissive of his thoughts and guided him to take steps to help him with his recovery. Follow up call and appointment was also put into place.I believe Drs are under a great amount of pressure at the moment, and when we are ill we aren't always at our best so it's easy to feel negative about the tiniest of things, this leads to negative reviews. The service provided today by this surgery was exceptionally professional and supportive. Thank-you.

To be honest I find it very very difficult to get to see the same doctor and the system they have for appointments is impossible and pointless in my opinion, I was even asked what would you like us to do about it !!!!!

The only reason for the good review is due to Dr Briggs. When I first got there, the receptionist was a bit rude, talking to other members of staff, said ?hey can I help you??, then talked over me to their colleague instead. The wait was ten minutes, but that is expected in most surgeries. The parking is bad, no space you have to park along the road. The only reason for such a high score is Dr Briggs. If you can get her, do it! She has this lovely manner about her, like when I spoke she seemed like she actually cared about me, unlike most doctors who seem to act like they are above you. She was down to earth, listened to me, cared about what I said, gave me good advice, explained things thoroughly and makes me want to come back to Sunnyside just to have her as my doctor. Sometimes you leave the doctors feeling worse leaving then when you go in, but Dr Briggs made me feel so much better. So though the surgery was a bit ?meh?, I had a wonderful experienced thanks to Dr Briggs.
