The most disrespectful landlord, he will get his bar staff to do the dirty work so he can appear to keep his hands clean but it will always come from the top down, in my opinion any other pub is better than this one.

Stayed overnight on a bikepacking trip. Really comfortable. Not serving food by great chippie not far away.
Left something by accident and returned straight to me by post.

Great atmosphere, friendly bar staff and locals. Big beer garden, pool table. Live singer was good, played a range of indie classics and some of his own original music. Great to give the young lad experience. Good range of draft and bottled refreshments. Got local walking and shopping tips from staff and patrons. A lot of young adults but that didn?t bother us. No food available Saturday evening, best to check service in advance. Not a problem, less than 10 min walk to range of eateries in town. Take the top road down, lots of nice gardens, take the low road walking back as it?s flat. We found this place as able to park our camper overnight (we?re 6 meters, no reservation, could fit at least 1 more same size but depends how many cars there). We will be back.

Lovely place just down from the hustle and bustle of main Cheddar. Great place to stop off for a drink . Unfortunately no food but a great beer garden and dog friendly ?

Great place for a pint. Friendly and welcoming with fresh beer and sometimes CHEESE! They have sports on in every room so you can ask if there?s something you want to watch.
It?s a fantastic place, in fact we?ve been every day in our week long holiday.

Found this place yesterday went today and will be going every day that we are here on holiday. It is a proper locals pub and you are made to feel like you are a local with all being so friendly and welcoming l. Unfortunately it doesn't serve food anymore but the banter makes up for that.

Room had no central heating, but portable heaters. Beer garden immediately outside room windows at same level. Noisy in evening, but earmuffs essential. Lovely bed and loads of sockets/usb port. Friendly staff. Car park good size.

I went because they allowed me to stay in the car park overnight, good selection of beers, pool table, darts a real pub with friendly customers. They say don't do food but oli bought out baked potatoes and Yorkshire pudding, free for the customers. Apparently this happens from time to time. If you want a
friendly chat and a beer it's the place to go.

Website has the incorrect information, as does the sign outside the establishment. This pub does not serve food. It was very annoying ? as we picked this place as it had good reviews. It's time for an update on your website. Pub was cosy typical of an old village pub. The one positive for my husband was that it serves Cheddar Valley
