Always difficult to know what you get for a takeaway, but found the food was excellent and delivered exactly when promised.
Probably one of the best takeaway meals had for a long long time.

I would highly recommend this restaurant! The service was outstanding ? Jamal was a very funny and entertaining character who made our visit even better. We tried the mixed grill, and it was absolutely delicious. You could tell the food was fresh, none of that frozen meat you get at many other Indian restaurants. Everything was freshly prepared and served piping hot. We?ll definitely be coming back!? 5**

Food was really nice and plenty of it. The service in the restaurant was friendly however the server forgot to give us menus, he split a drink onto our cutlery when bringing to the table and didn't offer another set and when he came to take the food order the phone starting ringing and he ran off to answer that when we were part way through. The atmosphere was limp because we were the only diners in there, however I would go here again.

We rarely have take aways as its so expensive. I physically couldn't eat mine this time (or last time sadly) as the food is so over salty. Really disappointed ?

Had a takeaway delivered locally, set meal for 4, very nice and cooked nicely. We hadnt realised part of the meal was missing until a car turned up, very apologetic, apparently they had been trying to contact us but we were enjoying our food too much. Totally enjoyed our meal

Made an order on line but never went through. Rang the restaurant explained I was waiting for my food. We were staying at the Cheddar Club campsite .
They were very apologetic and could not do enough to help us get our delivery asap.
The delivery drivery was very pleasant, and dressed very smart! ( I always think this has a reflection on the kitchen)
The food was absolutely beautiful and I would highly recommend this restaurant. X

The food was wonderful and the food arrived in very good time and was very delicious. Our server Salik vary very nice and gave us lots of advice of what to do in Cheddar and life in general he was definitely the highlight of the evening and he even gave us the Popadoms for free, how generous! If visiting cheddar again I would definitely visit again.

We were served by Salik who was extremely friendly and gave some brilliant advice on Cheddar and life as a whole! Food came very quickly and was simply delicious but no matter how good the naam bread was Salik was the stand out of the evening, one of the service I?ve ever had. If I wver visit Cheddar again Spice Cottage would be straight on the dinner plans.

Have always used this fantastic Indian restaurant never had a bad meal, service is always great and staff are always attentive
Since moving to Scotland have yet to find anywhere that matches them
Return to cheddar regularly and alway come here for a meal
