We had a lovely meal at this very spacious and welcoming pub. Three members of the party had the Sunday roast. There was an option of different meats. The service was spot on. We were attended to very quickly and the food arrived well presented and hot. There were other choices on the menu too.
The pub and it's garden areas were lovely and clean. The restaurant and bar staff were all very friendly and polite, nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Ordering was confusing and they didn't have a lot of things, including a drinks menu. Maybe ordering is more convenient when you use the app. Didn't try any food.

Ordered the burger, one for myself and one for my wife. Both were bland and fries were over cooked. Not one person came to ask if the meal was ok until we finished. When someone did come to ask if we had finished, we told them that the fries were cold and over done and the response was ? oh sorry , would you like something else?? Shame they could not blame it on how busy they was. Only about 20 people in there!

Lovely decor indoors , large accessible beer garden. The service staff were exceptionally attentive at speedy service , getting drinks and taking food order. Food delivery was too quick to be cooked per order , and the mash appeared slightly cold in the middle . Perseverance with that. However rest of the meal was hot. Steak ordered, cooked to how it was requested and the order was amended to remove 2 x items from the dish . This was done well , no issue. Atmosphere at 14:00pm on a Tuesday afternoon was slightly quieter than at the Gorge. However plenty of space for people to spread out .

Under new/old management. The place has been transformed from the dull corporate management style to a proper pub vibe. Love it here.

Lovely (busy) staff, wonderful food. Should of taken more pictures but was keen to dig in. Dog friendly in bar & lounge. The restaurant is more attractive than these areas but we were happy to have secured a table that could accommodate our group. Food was great quality, good portion size and piping hot. Highly recommend.

Love this place. Every visit to cheddar we always pop in for a drink and some food. Prices are ok and food is good. Nice back garden to eat and chill.
