Bought a pair of budget tyres online and booked my appointment slot. When I arrived the guy behind the counter informed me they could not get the tyres I had ordered but had gotten something similar instead, however, they would cost me a further £13. Apparently I am not the first person ATS have done this to. An email or phone call before my appointment would have given me time to make a more informed decision. On the plus side they were fast and didn't damage my wheels, so I was relatively happy.

My daughter went in this morning to have 2 of her own tyres fitted , was told over phone it would cost £50 , once tyres were done they then decided to charge her £83 and denied quoting her £50 on phone , bunch of conning liars , best avoid this place and go to a proper local garage for reliable quotes and service . If I could leave 0 stars I would have done

I visited today for a tyre check, on arrival I was roughly told to go to reception, where I was kept waiting whilst the member of staff finished computer work. After several minutes I was asked to go back to my car and someone would come and see me. After a short visual inspection I was advised that I needed three tyres. I was then asked to report my tyre details to the reception office when I again the original contact said why am I telling him this and immediately rang the member of staff asking why he hadn't come back with the customer, they openly had words between themselves,I was then questioned what tyres I wanted, I went towards the screen only to be abruptly told to not go behind the small reception desk to discuss what we're my options. I responded that this was getting silly only to be told to get out as they did not want my custom. The moment I got there, the treatment was dismissive and rude,I left and went to Paul Church who were polite, attentive and in their opinion only 1 tyre was needed as against the advice from ATS.My advice is to keep well clear of ATS, I have no confidence in their advice and their service and customer skills are non existent.Don't waste your time or money go to a proper professional dealer.

We are so grateful to the guys who assisted us yesterday afternoon. We had attempted to inflate a flat tyre and managed to limp into Chard (travelling home to Cornwall, so unfamiliar with the town). Seeing the ATS sign was such a relief and we are thankful to both of them for swapping the flat for our spare so swiftly...even though they were about to close. Great service - thank you so much! :) :)

Booked my car to do the tracking at 3 pm this afternoon, I got there and they said that they Could not do my car as it is too low to go on the rump and that the other rump was busy !!!! When I booked it this morning they did know what type of car I have as they asked for my number plate. I think it is disgusting service as I have to cancel a work meeting just to get there for 3 pm which I was there in time. I was warned by a friend not to take my car there as they not good, this proved that he was right again...

After telling me my caliper needed replacing, along with new brake discs and pads, I looked for a second opinion.Paul Church, a great garage who don?t rip off their customers, told me there was nothing wrong with the caliper but only the pads needed replacing.ATS quoted me £800 odd when in reality the work needed was only around £100.Don?t use this garage, they?re a bunch of con men.

I went into ATS at Chard this morning as I was a little concerned about the tyre pressures, they were so helpful, professional and gave me great advise, that I will always make them my first stop if I have any problems at all with my car. The manager, {sorry, didn't get your name} helped me sort out the spare fob, as it needed a new battery and I didnt know how to sort it out. So very considerate and helpful, didnt make me feel like an idiot for not knowing how to do a simple thing like change a battery! You should all be nominated for an award from the management!!!! I cannot thank ATS Chard enough, who went out of their way to contact someone from their Taunton garage which was closed so we could get our keys back for our car to get repaired by a mobile mechanic after being stranded 3 hours away from home with two blown out tyres. We're finally on our way back to Brighton now. Thank you thank you thank you.
