What a great pub. Very friendly, helpful staff. Couldn't do enough for us. Dog friendly and really welcoming. Highly recommend.

We went in for a pint on a chilly Monday evening. Warmly welcomed by friendly staff and chatty locals. Dog was welcomed too and was made a fuss of. Comfortable bar area, pub clearly two or three hundred years old. Not too noisy/busy for a cosy chat. Relaxing way to spend an hour or two. We?ll definitely be back when next in the area.

The White Hart is a classic pub, so it's exactly what we like. We went there for karaoke and had a fantastic evening. The drinks are very cheap and the service is friendly.

A basic, unprepossesing, pub. Good welcome given to our walking group. Limited food menu but very good value. Excellent ham, 2 eggs, chips and peas for £10.. Hot drinks good value too..
