Such a lovely pub! Met a friend there as it was half way for us both. Had some good pub grub and really decent prices. The atmosphere was great, nice staff and friendly locals!

We had traveled to the area as visiting the Haynes Museum just up the road. We had originally planned to eat at another local pub but walked out after a lack of service and poor atmosphere. After scouring Google Maps we decided on this place for a mid-week lunchtime stop.A nice locals pub that?s clearly been recently treated to a bit of a makeover- nice job too.Sometimes non-locals aren?t particularly welcomed in places like this (I know from living in a village myself, seen it many times) but we found The Catash Inn to be the opposite. From the moment we walked in we felt welcome and actually we were a bit cheeky asking for food so late in the afternoon but luckily the chef said he?d sort us out!I had hunters chicken + chips which as about £11/12, I felt this was good value for money especially as I had loads of chips (very nice too, triple-cooked style but more like fluffy Roast potatoes ??) the chicken/bacon was tasty too.My wife had Macaroni Cheese + chips which she said was very nice, probably too big a portion really.A good size car park up behind the pub, which from other reviews I?ve read offers overnight parking for campervans so if we?re ever in the area with ours we?d definitely be up for a stop-over!Toilets were well presented and very clean.

Popped in for lunch yesterday after checking out the Catash website and good reviews for their food. We were not disappointed! This traditional pub is in the lovely village of North Cadbury and although the pub could do with a bit of TLC and maybe a spot of background music - my goodness, it certainly makes-up for that with the friendliness of the owners and the quality (and excellent value!) of the food! My mother-in-law enjoyed the Cod and Chips, which was a good size for a 'small portion', and a delicious Waffle desert. My Husband loved his Sirloin Steak and all the trimmings - his desert was another pint of Orchard Pig Cider!! And I was over the moon with my Grilled Salmon accompanied by new potatoes, tender stem broccoli and vine tomatoes, plus my desert of Spotted Dick with custard - hard to resist, even though I was full to the brim! All meals absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Away from the food - both my hubby and mother-in-law needed to use the loos before we left and both came out singing the praises of how immaculately clean the WC's were, so that's a big thumbs-up too! Needless to say, we shall return!

Nice place, we stayed here for free with the motorhome for a night. And decided to eat something in the Pub. The daughter of the owner was very funny and told us where we could park and go if we wanted some drinks/food. The only downside for us was the weedwacker that came at 10 am and woke us up. This is probably just bad luck, so I wouldn't worry about it if you are coming for a visit.

Visited the catash Inn for their burger night deal on a Saturday and was very impressed. You have the choice of burger and also a pint all for a tenner. The food was excellent and the staff were great. I will be visiting again soon and can recommend it.

Can?t beat this place for food and drink, best pub around! Will definitely be coming back. Lovely traditional pub inside with an amazing beer garden. They do some really good value deals through the week and they are 100% worth it! Would recommend to anyone passing near!
