I?ve just had 4 Pirelli tyres fitted by Philips Tyres and can?t rate them highly enough. Nigel and his team are spot on - they care about your vehicle and work to get the job done. I was in and out in about 20 minutes, I don?t mind paying a bit more to support independent companies but from experience their price is in line with the national companies.

I run a Santa sleigh in Weston super mare and last night we had a blowout, I needed to drive to Yeovil this morning for a car service so whilst waiting I tried 3 Garages in and around Yeovil, all 3 were unable to help and one looked as if what I was asking was below him, I then went back to collect my car and whilst paying said to the Service Dept about my predicament, he mentioned Phillips tyres in Castle Cary and said he had heard nothing but good things, so with the tyre in the boot off I went (its sort of on the way home) when I got there I asked the chap in the fitting bay (sorry I didn't get his name) if they had a 4.80/400x8 6ply in stock along with a tube, he asked what it was for ie Trailer or wheelbarrow and then shot upstairs, he came back 2 minutes later with both in hand, I asked if he could fit onto the rim for me and he gladly obliged, 10 minutes later he presented me with a complete wheel, the customer service was first class and I didn't mention that I was a walk in and he had a car on the ramp so he stopped what he was doing to help me out. it might be an hours drive for me but I think I have found my new Tyre fitting centre.
