Visited the railway for a meal on Friday afternoon. Food was lovely, and we ordered from the senior menu. we had a 2 choice meal option. Very busy place and the bar staff we very good.

Went into The Railway today, 17th Feb. We always go to The Railway because 1 of us can't have eggs. The chap with a beard said he could take off 2 eggs and swap with 1 item. The girls that always serve us normally let us have extra hash brown and extra mushrooms. So we went down the road to Jeff's. Nothing was too much trouble, swapping the 2 eggs on the 1 breakfast for extra mushrooms and a sausage. So its good bye. The Railway. We won't be having your breakfast anymore. We have been coming in for over 2 years.

Very good fish and chips deal on a Friday. 6 pounds. Very impressed. Nice service and menu. I put 3 stars for atmosphere as there was techo music playing loud at 5pm. Bit early for a rave up! Wrong crowd.

Everything was great apart from the gents and ladies toilets, definitely not been cleaned in a while (or ever!!!)

Bit rough round the edges, carpet a touch sticky but alright for a pint and loads of screens for the footy....can't comment on the food as we didn't fancy it.

If I could give no stars then I would I popped in yesterday for a pint and a meal and as I approached the bar the staff walked away clearing tables ignoring customers like me waiting to be served I will NEVER EVER call there again !

Nice pub food. Friendly staff. Big TV?s. Rather annoying music playing while football was on but still enjoyed watching Forest spank Leicester in there own backyard

First time eating at this pub. The food was ok, not too much and great prices. The only small downside was it was a bit greasy. We had a breakfast and gammon and chips. Had a bit of wait ordering but after ordering it didn't take long to arrive.

Cannot fault this pub. Was recommended by my sister who visited twice the week before. Excellent service lovely food served hot. Staff very friendy and very helpful. Excellent manager.

Went to railway for sunday lunch it was loverly except the carrots they weren't cooked , staff were loverly and polite. Overall it was anice pub.

Stopped just for breakfast on way down to Brixham in Devon. We both ordered Mega breakfast and tea. Absolutely superb. Food was plentiful, perfectly cooked and served on warm plates. Everything was really tasty and the mushrooms were so sweet. Nom nomnom.
Staff were really welcoming. Dog friendly too.
A really fab place. Highly recommended ?
