Nice caravan park, the staff are friendly and welcoming, the lake is absolutely beautiful, my son caught some carp which he was happy about. (He is 9) you?ll need a landing mat or rent one from reception otherwise you can?t fish, met the lady bailiff she was lovely and gave us some advice on fishing.

not suitable for families booked a 3 bed caravan specifically ended up with a 2 bed and lounge bed (apparently thats their 3 bed caravan spec) utter nonsense
Fantastic lake for fishing but unfortunately for a family holiday this is completely unsuitable as theres nothing for kids here
Entertainment isn't great unless you like bingo swimming pool is outside and tiny again not suitable for older kids
Limited parking where our caravan was there were 24 caravans without spaces and only 8 communal parking spaces available
majority of owners on site are elderly and very obnoxious certainly weren't welcoming of a family
In a nutshell if you're a couple wanting a quiet getaway its fine as long as your face fits with the locals
If your a family more likely to be chased of with a pitchfork than made to feel welcome by the caravan owners on site
Staff are lovely
The site needs major investment and modernising
Unfortunately I wont be returning

A proper holiday, took me back to being a kid, managed to get my two to forget about the internet and devices and actually have some family time, if you enjoy fishing the lake is a treat, very well looked after by the water baliff and plenty of fish to be caught. I have heard people complain that the units are too close together and there is no privacy but isn't that half the point of being on a site? It was great to meet new people and do some proper socialising. I can't comment on the boathouse, didn't spend a lot of time in there but on the odd occasion we popped in for a drink the staff were prompt and very friendly. As for Burnham itself we absolutely loved it, a proper holiday town with plenty of shops and places to eat and drink, all in all if you're looking for 24/7 party mode I would find somewhere else to go but if you want to relax with the family and just have a holiday that you make your own this is the place for you

Terrible place says family entertainment the only thing on was bingo for adults arcades machines were all broken the only one that did work was a teddy machine when my son won on it it wouldn't realise his teddy he had won and they only offerd him 2 pound rather than his win no where to park your cars as there are to many caravans squashed together caravans are run down by far the worst place to go especially if you have children

Staff were brilliant, couldn't be nicer. Fishing great - enjoyed every minute. Lovely and peaceful - very relaxing and clise to the town/beach.

PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, DONT BOOK. Wow. Where do I begin. Wish I read the reviews. Place is outdated. Got our caravan and when I booked it through hoseasons, asked to not have a pet one. Well. Was treated with wet dog and bleach smell. I'm asthmatic. I got bitten my flees. It was so cold where the windows don't shut. Tv didnt work. The maintainence man come and said shut the windows from the outside and the wire is broke for tv. We were in late and so decided to go somewhere else. Left the next morning. Went to complain. Run by a bunch of clowns. Infact they prob do things better. Got told if we went direct then they would of refunded. Got told to speak to hoseasons. Hoseasons said to speak to the park. Here we go. No one taking blame. Left and nothing open, no bar which was closed to a private party. I was more excited to be going. Got to the next place and was bliss. Well, i rather stay in pontins which is luxurious compared to here. Thats saying something. hoseasons just told me the park is refusing a refund. Been waiting July 2024 for this holiday. Holiday ruined. So now complaint is being brought forward. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD AVOID. !!!! I do 6 caravan sites a year for reviews and blogs and this is the worst

Caravan park with 2 fishing lakes. Caravans a bit dated but good value for money. Fishing is excellent, better than most commercials.
