We travelled from Bournemouth, 2 friends and 4 kids (7,8,12,14yrs) nice easy journey over! First time visiting and it was exactly what we wanted. Everyone very friendly, Carol and Kevin were lovely and a credit to the site. Loved our pitches, good size and nice and flat, unfortunately noisy neighbours on the first night. Everything you could possibly need is on your doorstep, all within walking distance, the splashpark was excellent value for money, beautiful beach just across the road and the hike up the steps to see the Fort was definitely worth it!
Music in the toilets and showers was a really nice touch too!
We treated ourselves to pizza and chips one night, and Chinese another, both amazing and big portion sizes. Stunning sunsets!
Can't wait to go back the same time next year, and will look to stay for longer! Thank you x

Pontins on steroids
Good points. Staff are friendly and helpful. The toilets and showers are nice and clean.
Bad points. The fairground is scruffy and the staff are terrible.
The beach is filthy and soulless.
RJ?s the Clubhouse is like pheonix nights on a bad acid trip
Some dubious characters around. The nail in the coffin was a lady in her late 30?s driving someone?s mobility scooter around smoking a joint.
To quote a neighbour. ?This place has definitely been in the back of the Sun for a £100 holiday?
Booked in for 4 nights left after 2.

Great site, plenty of things for children to do and dog friendly
Nearby activities: Large theme park
And large swimming pool with loads of outdoor slides and shoots but pay extra for these
Walkability: All flat
Food & drinks: All food we had was reasonably priced for a caravan site
But more than caravans to be fair

Probably the most expensive site, and entertainment don't include all children, some were left upset for being forgotten ?

I love RJS , but I miss Chunky and auntie B. And that the small arcade could be a little bit bigger and better things to buy carry on adding love this place. (:
Food & drinks: Good food but a little expensive for some people

Love this place, been visiting every year since 2010 and will continue for many more years. Always a friendly welcome, pitches are massive and tidy, great facilities and plenty to do.

Love it here, great place for a family holiday.
We have come back again this year (2024) and have to say my husband and I are disgusted with the swimming pool. We went to watch the grandchildren in the pool and were told we would have to pay the same price as it went were swimming. £6 each just to sit poolside is an absolute rip off. We would have paid a £1 or even £2 but not £6 so we walked away ?
