You would?ve thought it?d be difficult to mess up a prawn cocktail sandwich, but this cafe managed it. We all ordered the same thing and without exception, all of our sandwiches were dry, and they were so mean with the sauce, about 25% of the prawns in our sandwiches were dry. Service was brusque and abrupt and it seemed really daft that they told everyone they were closing at 4pm when the sign on the door said 5pm - they turned away a lot of potential business. Decor was dated. I really couldn?t find anything to like about this place, if they can?t get a basic prawn sandwich right they?ve got no hope!

I recently dined at cafe beans and, unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory.
First and foremost, the food was incredibly bland. Each dish lacked the flavor and seasoning one would expect, making the overall dining experience quite disappointing. There was no standout dish, and everything tasted underwhelming and uninspired.
Additionally, the service left much to be desired. The staff seemed inattentive and uninterested in providing a good customer experience. We had to repeatedly flag down our server for basic requests, and there was a noticeable lack of hospitality.
The interior of the restaurant was also quite dated. It felt like the decor hadn't been updated in years, which added to the overall feeling of neglect. The ambiance did not contribute positively to the dining experience and could definitely use a refresh.
To top it off, the timing of the food service was poorly managed. Our dishes did not come out at the same time, causing some of us to wait while others had already received their meals. This lack of coordination was frustrating and disrupted the flow of our meal.
Overall, cafe beans did not meet expectations on multiple fronts. I would not recommend it unless significant improvements are made in food quality, service, and ambiance.

Ordered bacon egg on toast and sausage egg on toast and it came and was one sausage one egg on one piece of toast same with the bacon never in my life have I ever been in a cafe and that happen bacon egg on toast means bacon and egg toasted sandwich so then I finally got which I wanted.£12.50 for two sandwiches the toast had a green thing on it like a squashed pea. I just left never go back

We 3 arrived and were seated. The waitress ignored us for 10 minutes. 2 gents came in after us and were seated in the corner. They were immediately attended to and when we said we were there before them the waitress said "they are regulars and come in every day at that time" Obviously they have no regard for visitors which is why the place is up for sale. That treatment is unacceptable.

We have often visited this cafe over the years and liked it very much, but in a recent visit we were ushered to a tiny round table with 2 chairs crammed up against the counter. I said I thought it was cramped and would like a different table. Only to be told that the tables for 4 were saved for larger parties. There were only 2 of us, but the table was barely big enough to hold two coffees, let alone add a couple of plates. So close to the counter you wouldn't have been able to move your arms to eat. There were loads of empty tables and only about 3 tables in the whole cafe had occupants. It was mid afternoon in November.We walked out and went round the corner to the Fortes Cafe. Lovely cake and good food. Delicious lcecream and you could sit where you liked. No cramped little tables. Much more friendly staff and great prices. Needless to say, this is where we will be eating when we visit Burnham in future.

Went here for lunch and breakfast whilst staying in Burnham for 3 days. Had our dog with us so sat in the little courtyard. Staff are so friendly and bought out our dog a blanket to lie on and biscuits and a bowl of water. Food was delicious and served piping hot. Good menu choice and very reasonable prices. Coffee was delicious to. Will definitely visit again when in burnham ?

This is our local cafe the best in town, we normally have breakfast or lunch here and the food is always wonderful, the staff are always welcome and friendlyI popped in here with friends one morning and just ordered hot drinks, we are always served quickly, the Cafe has a warm and cosy atmosphere, really clean but only one downside it could do with air conditioning or windows open it's always very warm in the cafe
