Sorry, didn't enjoy it at all, it's just a dressed up fancy bar with expensive drinks. Food selection was disappointing! Didn't stay long unfortunately!

Unique environment for food/drinks. The atmosphere is a little hectic as people are frequently passing through and it's a little unclear whether you receive table service or need to order at the bar.
The food was okay, but not great and my drink arrived in a cup with a lipstick stain. This was fixed, but overall didn't give a great impression.

Fantastic Sunday roast boasting (exceptionally) local and high quality ingredients, such as perfectly cooked carrots, beautiful new potatoes, and beef that was lovely and pink with a great flavour and tenderness. Would highly recommend the roast.
Perfect way to end our visit to the museum, and Bruton, sitting outdoors in their sun trap. Would recommend it to anyone visiting Bruton, especially those who want to go to the museum and garden.

Interesting but confusing and expensive place to eat and drink , we popped in on a Sunday afternoon it was very busy and not clear how you ordered food , no sign of any menus and not clear where you could and couldn't sit , lots of people also seemed to walk in and look confused and staff just ignored them . You can not order at the bar but just have to grab a seat when you see one , service was OK(once we managed to find a seat) but was not given menus and was somehow supposed to know what we wanted . We had the sharing board which was OK and my cocktail was nice . All in all a bit style over content and the "art" wasn't really my style so would not bother again

Definitely style over substance. Beautiful surroundings and our server was lovely, but quite frankly the food was a joke. £26.00 for a sharing platter that was supposed to be a ploughman's lunch. I estimate the total cost of ingredients to be around £5.00.
Tiny portions with half a piece of bread each!
Vegetarian options: We did not have a vegetarian meal

Our first time at H&W, recommended to us for a great place to get some breakfast (it was!) We parked up and made our way down to the Roth Bar where we were warmly welcomed by the staff and shown to a table in the lovely courtyard, the sun was shining and we could?ve been mistaken for thinking we were somewhere in the Mediterranean.
After another chat with the friendly staff, learning more about H&W and the sculptures in the garden, we settled on some breakfast baps and were not disappointed when the baps promptly arrived, a very generous helping of bacon cooked with just the right amount of crisp, topped with a fried egg.
We will definitely be back to sample more of the menu in future!

Great art decor. Good coffee. Didn't eat this time.

The high expectations due to the hype were met with a pleasant experience. The staff was excellent, and the food, while decent, offered a variety of great choices. Regrettably, couldn't explore the art this time, but looking forward to it next visit. Definitely considering a return.

Went for lunch with my sister & brother. The whole experience, from the food & drink to the great service & ambience. I've booked again for 28th December - can't wait!

Great service, food was very tasty and we had the option of sitting inside or out. We really enjoyed the experience and would certainly recommend breakfast!

Our experience today was not what I expected after the reviews I read. The wait staff were indifferent. We had 2 Vegans in our group. We were assured the soup could be made Vegan. Waitress assured us it was when she brought it out. But it had Italian ham in it. It had to be sent back. We had to ask for spoons to eat the soup. When asked if they had coffee the waiter, with an attitude, referred us to the drinks menu. Latte was nice and hot but served in glasses with no handle, so couldn?t be picked up. No sugar on table, no wait staff to be found to ask for sugar. No one checked on our table to see if everything was OK or if we needed anything the whole time we sat there. All in all NOT what I expected from the reviews. And no it wasn?t busy ?. so no excuse!!

Very friendly welcome at the bar. Nice coffee and a smile.Their Car Park was rammed. They must do well here. Menu looks amazing, if you have the funds. I just dropped in for a quick coffee, at the Bar. Roth Bar & Grill. Service is excellent

We loved our Sunday lunch at the Roth Bar & Grill. I am a veggie and am regularly underwhelmed by other establishments' vegetarian offering. Not here - the lentil and mushroom loaf was AMAZING! I tried to work out the flavours so that I can have a go at recreating it myself. We thought the portions sizes were huge, and every element of the roast delicious. We would defs recommend! :-)Vegetarian options: Enough veggie options to feel included at the table;-)
