Amazing food such a great concept. No decision to make just sit back and enjoy the gorgeous food. Matt a lovely person obviously proud of his restaurant and so he should be. His staff are great too.

I took my friend to Matt's last night as a birthday treat -- and it was! I hadn't been back to Matt's for a few years and it was delightful to see how he has kept pace with modern presentational trends while holding fast to his very personal style. I love how Matt brings back influences from his foreign travels. I can't list the whole menu, but Lamb mechoui was a treat, with a fresh 'pop' of pickled radish on top, crispy chick peas and vegetable cous cous. Check his monthly menu! Matt's Kitchen holds its own with aplomb and a warm welcome, in ever-so-trendy Bruton! No worries. Just go -- and take your own bottle.

This was one of the loveliest and best meals my partner and I have had in ages! Really recommend! We are from London and you would never receive this level of service from both the staff and the chef himself (Matt who is delightful!). Matt introduces every dish himself and every dish we ate was delicious. We loved the intimacy of the restaurant and that you could tell every dish was created with so much thought!
The lamb was a particular stand out but all the dishes deserve special mention. Thank you to Matt and his lovely staff for such a fantastic meal!

My partner and I visited Matts Kitchen last night - we?ve traveled down from London to stay in Bruton for the weekend and had a superb experience! Matt is extremely welcoming and everything about his food and the restaurant was authentic, this truly felt like being at a dinner party with home cooked food, but to a very high standard. We loved every course and even better that you can BYOB. Thank you Matt for such a unique and brilliant dinner experience - we?ll absolutely be coming back and recommending to others!

What a gem! Such a special place. After paying a deposit having emailed to reserve a table & describing all the various allergies of me & my friends you simply turn up and experience a carefully adapted & flavoured menu. Matt totally understands portion size & combinations of flavours & textures. I feel very fortunate to have Matt?s Kitchen to take my friends to. Thanks for all your customised attention.

Matt the man himself came to meet us front of house. His warm welcome set the tone for a very unique experience, it was clear he had an incredible local following which was well deserved.

Came for dinner tonight - walked through the door to be greeted by Matt himself?absolutely lovely! We?d never been before as only visiting on holiday - what a superb find. Lovely intimate surroundings and felt very special (kind of romantic). Matt has totally nailed it. He?s charming, funny and a brilliant host as well as chef! The food is inventive, delicious and proper high end cooking. Can?t recommend this place enough. Thanks for a lovely experience!
