Fantastic customer service. I popped in today because I thought I'd perforated my eardrum. Emma (pharmacy manager) explained to me that she could perform an ear exam for £20. She performed the ear exam straightcaway, using a little camera that took videos/photos of the inside of my ear which clearly showed the perforation. This saved me time waiting for a Drs appointment and gave me the photos I needed for a referral. Emma was gentle and kind throughout. I thoroughly recommend this service. Thank you, Emma!

It's annoying they don't tell you they are closed between 1 and 2. I walked for 25 mins to get there only to be greeted by a message on the door saying they are closed between 1 and 2. I even checked their website to make sure they were open, no mention of being closed for lunch. All it says is the pharmacist takes a break 13:00-13:20.

The staff are absolutely lovely and are so helpful. Emma, the manager (I think) is brilliant and can solve any problem with prescriptions and the pharmacists are kind and considerate. They all do a difficult job when there are fewer and fewer pharmacies, and get busier by the day, but they are always very professional and polite, and provide a brilliant service.

Definitely the best pharmacy in town! They are busy and short of staff like EVERYWHERE in healthcare, unfortunately.But they are POLITE and CARING. They do whatever they can to help patients. And on top of that they are always SMILING. After being the patient of many other pharmacies, I found Rowlands the best in regards to staff, drug availability and professionalism.They restored my faith in pharmacy!

Shockingly bad (I won't use the word service because they don't know what it means). I had a Drs appointment last Wednesday and was given a prescription and went to the pharmacy as it's in the same building.They only had part of the medication and told me the rest would be in tomorrow. I rang the next day and was informed that they didn't have it but it would be in the next day. Friday my wife went in for me and they still didn't have it.Today Tuesday I call in on the way home from work after trying to ring twice but got no answer, at 14:00 yes they have the rest of my prescription, the assistant had it in her hand standing next to the pharmacist but it wouldn't be ready for collection until 15:30 an hour and a half! She was stood next to the pharmacist but said he was too busy. Do not use this joke of a pharmacy. No matter how ill I am I will travel to another pharmacy in future.

The team at Rowlands are incredibly kind and comforting when visiting, sometimes it does require sensitivity. You can tell there is staff shortages and they're tyring their best to accommodate and still be friendly. Particularly the Manager you can tell is well appreciated by the community surrounding. I will continue to visit this location and recommend others to do so.

Very busy pharmacy that clearly needs to employ more staff to be able to provide an efficient service. Poorly children and elderly people standing in the queue for long periods of time to then wait for their prescriptions to be completed once they?ve even reached the front counter. As the waiting times are so long for service they could do with a much better queuing system to avoid elderly and poorly people standing and have a lot more chairs.If you use East Quay medical centre my advice would be to ask for the surgery to send the prescription to Asda which is much better and efficient.

Like every pharmacy it seems after Covid they are short of staff. Once there would be three customer facing staff but now there is only one. However, the staff who are there go out of their way to be helpful and polite.
