Went there yesterday afternoon (mondaty)asked for help to move a current account to my account with Nationwide. I cannot praise the help that the young lady gave enough, she was brilliant.

Absolutely shocking. Waited 40 mins just to be seen next. Old lady comes in gets seen to 1st. Seems if ur old u get seen to as the younger generation gets ignored. Now getting close to an hour as I just got seen to. Why I can't book a time slot is beyond. Shame Halifax closed. Needles to say people came in and left while I was there.

I would like to say a huge Thank you, to Babette, within the Bridgwater branch of Nationwide.
I had a few issues with my account and she went over and beyond helping me. She was so friendly, helpful and was genuinely pleased to help me out with these issues, taking time so that everything was sorted out properly. Thank you so much again, much appreciated.

I went to nationwide in Bridgwater to ask a question about switching to them and as soon as I walked in the information lady said you can't come in with a dog. That put me right off it's not like they sell food. I am staying with Halifax although they are closing down. At least they make you feel welcome. In Halifax the staff come up to my dog and pat her.

I would strongly advise against using an ATM to deposit cash either outside or inside a bank. Recently I had to complain as a staff member deposited my cash in machine within branch while I had to wait at door. There was a difference between amount I gave them and amount on receipt. After several phone calls I have since been refunded the difference by Nationwide with the Managers assistance.

Awful building society. My ISA came up to maturity. No contact from Nationwide whatsoever. No advice on other available products. Nationwide will not transfer my ISA to a savings account. I have to go into branch and close my ISA. The branch is hardly ever open beyond the middle of the day. So not convenient for working people. Incredibly unhelpful building society all round.

This branch has lost lots of business from me as it has an early closing time of 16.30 on weekdays.
