The experience of shopping at this store is badly damaged at the checkout stage! The (bizarrely thickly made-up) staff could not look more bored and are sullen, disinterested and avoid eye contact. By contrast the service in the "yard office" is excellent.

This is one of the best country stores around, went looking for a replacement pair of Wellington Boots, found exactly what I wanted, plenty to choose from. Also bought a few other things. Service was great, well stocked and excellent choices. Highly recommend.

Friendly staff. Easy to find and plenty of parking. They have now added two parant and child parking spaces. Very handy when you have the children with you.

I don't think mole valley is as good as it used to be. More often than not they don't have the timber products I ask for, some of the staff seem quite disinterested and condescending. I've started traveling to a supplier in Wales for timber as this is far cheaper and more convenient than using mole valley in my local town.The store doesn't stock half the stuff stated on the website, best to check first.
