Lodging in Bridgwater, Somerset

“Great inn with well equipped rooms, ideal for either access to the coast path or the quantocks, sensible prices, would recommend if your in that area , dog friendly”

“I very much enjoyed my stay here. The staff are lovely, welcoming and friendly. The rooms are well provided for with everything you need. We had an evening meal that was great value and the breakfast was equally as good. Thank you for the very pleasant stay.”

“Great stop over hotel at the motorway services. The girl on reception was super friendly and helpful. And showed us straight away things like extra tea and coffee was always at reception to take what you need. We also borrowed a free iron and ironing board which was no trouble at all. The room for 3 adults had 2 smaller single camp style bed and 1 double bed. They were all big enough and comfortable. The rooms were cleaned perfectly. The bathroom was large and had a bath and shower. The view of the trees was nice and to be honest you could barely even heard the motorway which was surprising when it was so close. There was no restaurant with the hotel but there is a lovely big Costa downstairs and also a Greggs kiosk for cheap bites. The robot vacuum cleaner we saw wizzing around was a great idea ?”

“Absolutely fantastic experience here for what I would have paid for a run of the mill “ Chain motel “ ...Staff couldn’t have been more helpful, the place was stunning both inside and out with comfy beds, decent coffee, spotlessly clean and dog friendly. Although we hadn’t originally planned on eating in house I soon changed my mind when I saw the menu and was extremely glad that we decided to stay . My son who is studying in the area and whom I was visiting said it was the best meal he had eaten since moving to Somerset ! Waking up in the morning to birdsong and being able to look out of the window onto a garden overflowing with roses was just icing on the cake ....”

“The hotel itself is like most
Premiere Inn hotels -
although this has "old" decor style;
good size of the room and bathroom,
with well-functioning facilities;
TV and kettle with coffee and tea.
Parking is included

WIFI worked extremely poorly
with miserable speed.
For some reason, hot water was not available in the sink, - only in the shower
???

At the on-site restaurant, none of my priority choices were available
so I ended up with a dish
which tasted good enough,
but also no more.
From the attitude, it seemed as if the staff in the restaurant were bored
and would prefer to be somewhere else
on a Friday night
???

In the immediate area, there is little other than junk food on offer -
so one is dependent on transport”
