So disappointed Nothing like last visit. Bar and serving staff still lovely. But carvery dire. Cold and meat scraps not slices. Burnt parsnips. Near empty containers same with sauces and gravy. All this and only just after 12.30 Unfortunately no return anticipated

Brilliant visit, bit of a mix up with order but was all sorted in the end by Nick, excellent service, had a lovely time and will be back soon, thanks to Nick an all the team, regards Jayne an Steve an friends.??

Went to the pub with family for a carvery and the food was really lovley and all staff were friendly and welcoming. Really happy with the service.

Disappointed to find that vegetables for carvery had been standing on hot plate for a long time and the small amount left had either dried out and become rock hard or in the case of the mashed potato welded itself to the pan. Beef was very tasty but very dry. 2 of the glasses in our round of drinks were dirty.

I come here every week with my family and I can't fault the food. Most of the time we order carvery's and they are truly incredible. Lately the food has gotten even better and is always consistent. We haven't had a fault for as long as I can remember. If you are looking for a place with quality meals or an incredible carvery, this is the place to go in the local area. Kind staff that are always ready to help you with any faults and cater to your needs. The prices are fair, but the food is even better! This is the place to go for a lovely meal.

Had carvery meal and drinks. Good selection of Veg . Big Yorkshire pudding. Had a selection of tasty meal. Real value for money. Good service. would go again.

Attended 12th April lovely drinks in gardens and polite staff . Attended with friends three cars and I have been given a parking ticket as stayed 30 minutes longer with a friend will not be returning and will inform others to be careful how one evening can become very expensive. Understand if I had left car I was in the pub!!!!

Best place to eat in town.go there twice a week for last 25 years and for all family celebrations.All the staff are so welcoming.Know us by name.Treat us like family Selection of meals brilliant and order quickly to table and delicious. I was in a first day absolutely nervous and the staff knew about and they was checking up on me looking after me lovely service food was spot on no complaints at all would highly recommend coming here

We were served by a wonderful lady Terry, she was so accommodating and took extra special care, especially after it was mentioned that my brother had autism, we accidentally ordered his burger with sauce and she made sure straight away that it was sorted with no sauce, she was extremely professional and kind 5/5 rating for service ??

This is our local!! Haven?t been for a while since Ollie left standards have slipped massively. As always staff are amazing can?t do enough to help. Chips cold food average, wasn?t even busy!! Good luck in the summer!!
