My 82yr old mother went to collect a prescription for her damaged vertebrae at Asda pharmacy, Bridgwater. She was told that it wasn?t ready and to walk around the store for an hour! My mother is on a walking stick and can hardly walk because of her fall, hence the medication needed. She told the dark haired, larger lady pharmacist that she could hardly walk because of a damaged spine. So my Mim took a seat in the pharmacy to wait whilst they prepared her prescription, thinking they may do it sooner seeing her sat there. However, that wasn?t the case and when her hours wait was up, Mum asked if her prescription was ready now. When the pharmacist eventually brought it out, my Mother said that she didn?t understand how boxed items took so long when they just had to be put in a paper bag. To which the pharmacist replied.?Well, you know what to do, don?t come here again!!? How extremely rude of her! My mother said ?Don?t worry, I won?t!? And left!I can?t believe someone working in a customer service position can be so rude to customers, especially people that are elderly and poorly! It?s disgusting and we won?t be going back to Asda again!

Possibly the worst pharmacy I've attended. Seemingly lazy, unknowledable staff. Not willing to help nor work in a fast manner, but very happy for the 3 or 4 till staff to be standing in the back chatting to each other. I waited 30 minutes in a queue for a small behind the counter product. No apology for the wait

Twice I was issued the wrong medication, I went into the store to explain this was the second time and the medication was wrongly prescribed and effects blood pressure, they said they would record it but the lady was really rude and tutted at me for bringing it to their attention, her comments were 'not again' slightly concerning as it would have had to be signed off by two professionals before releasing

Left me waiting for 5 minutes like I was invisible. Didn't bag up my medication. Poor service all round.

Called them up to get advice and the lady was extremely rude. She had some trouble understanding me so I called back. This time they end the call on me so I can?t get the advice I need that the 111 operator said I should get. I then called a third time and a different lady answered and they were just all extremely rude. I was explaining that I?m calling on behalf of my boyfriend as he is on the autistic spectrum and they reply with ?so what did you need help with? so rude!

I'm not happy and I will change my pharmacy to somewhere else next time. I was prescribed antibiotics and I was 3 doses short of the full course when I was supposed to take the full course. This has happened twice now that the measurements have been incorrect. Not very good at all. Not professional. This could be life threatening if it was more serious.

Only 2 stars because they sometimes give u the I owe u on ur medication, lack of organisation when it comes to people picking up their medication. I feel they should pack it and store it as soon as they get it so it's ready for people to pick up.

Worst pharmacy! For the past year I have picked up a repeat prescription and every month they tell me they can't find me on their system. After waiting ages they then find it and I get my prescription and the next month the same happens. Usually having to wait a good fifteen minutes for them to find it. This month after waiting for over half an hour they told me they had never had a prescription for me even though I had collected from them every month. I have asked my doctor to change where I collect from as the confusion and waiting times in Asda are unacceptable.

Single handedly the worst service I have ever experienced from a store/shop.It?s either shut or I get told to ?do my shopping? while they get my prescription ready that I ordered a week ago. I find it shocking that a pharmacy can even be ran way. This is peoples medication not general items.Think I?ll be changing pharmacy????

Can?t recommended this pharmacy enough, every time i?ve had prescriptions ordered they?ve been very helpful and always had it. Had an out of hours prescription sent here and they didn?t have it in stock so they called other pharmacies to see if they had it and sent me to a different one with the prescription they printed out for me! Very helpful and lovely staff

I have been using Asda pharmacy once a month since mid 2012, the service has always been excellent, I have had regular medication reviews with the pharmacist to ask if everything was OK, yes, over the last 2 years things have slowed down but, we do happen to be in a pandemic, which has made things incredibly difficult for customers and staff. We are living through some strange times and to hear the moaning and the abuse is painful. We were so used to things being ready, walk in pick them up walk out, it's not like that at the moment, they are trying to do their best with what they have, they are trying to do a job, they want to please their customers. They just haven't got the resources, staff or facilities to do anything more. It isn't the fault of the women in the customer facing role. They should be treated with understanding. It won't get things done any quicker if we are rude and abusive. We might have a go at them, walk away and forget about it, they can't, they carry it on their shoulders, until another customer comes in and does the same thing, it builds up. Short term frustration relief for us customers but causing real stress for them. What happens if they walk out of their jobs? Things will get even slower while they have to recruit and train new staff. The other thing is, would you be happy if that was your wife or daughter taking so much s*** over things they have absolutely no control over? Give them a break, support them, they are probably getting a kicking from the bosses too, for the build up of queues.

Used to be very good, gone downhill quickly.2 weeks to process a prescription for dressings, and then not all items there.Just been in to collect another prescription to be told that it's there but not been checked, when asking how long before it will be ready was told not sure we're a week and a half behind, but if you finish your shopping I'll try and get it done. Will be changing to a different pharmacy on Monday.
