I very much enjoyed my stay here. The staff are lovely, welcoming and friendly. The rooms are well provided for with everything you need. We had an evening meal that was great value and the breakfast was equally as good. Thank you for the very pleasant stay.

The hotel is open Mon - Fri and has plenty of parking. A larger hotel than I thought. The main part of the hotel is on the road side. But there are rooms avaliable away from the road.
The gentleman at breakfast and reception was welcoming and accommodating with doing food to go. I would opt for a room away from the roadside as it can be noisy.
Rooms: Basic unfortunately mine was noisy and I didnt get a good nights sleep.
Food and drinks: Cant fault the food. Home cooked from fresh, quality food and good portions.

Simon and the team really made us feel welcome for our three night stay.I stayed in room six which had a TV and a full size bath in the bathroom. Although the hotel is dated in places, it's super clean and welcoming and the food is home cooked. I can truly recommend the poached eggs for breakfast.Although it is situated on a busy "B" road the road noise is not too bad and generally disappears around 21.00 hrs.Overall a very pleasant stay with ample free parking and a small bar. I will definitely consider staying here again

Awesome hosts and staff, very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. My room was a nice cozy space with an extremely comfortable bed. I found the floors to be very creaky (Normal for the type of building) which made me conscious of neighboring guests but it didn't put a damper on my experience. I will definitely be back but for longer next time.

If I stay at a hotel, I want and expect cleanliness and good food always - The Apple Tree Hotel delivers on these fronts and so much more. The hotel was spotlessly clean everywhere - love that. Simon is the perfect host, welcoming and engaging with a wealth of knowledge of the surrounding areas. He is also a fantastic chef and both our breakfasts and evening meal were first class and taken in the beautiful conservatory restaurant. I should also mention how lovely the other staff are also and this really made us feel relaxed and happy to be there. The Apple Tree is a great place to stay and ideal as a base point for exploring that part of the country. I wouldn?t hesitate to recommend the hotel and/or stay here again myself.

The Apple Tree Hotel is comfortable and exceptionally welcoming. My friend and I were attending a wedding in the area and the owners offered to drive us there and pick us up if we needed to - he could not have done enough to make our stay a good one. The breakfast was tasty and we enjoyed eating in the bright, airy dining space. My room was comfortable and really clean, if a little cold. The water pressure in the shower was really weak, but other than that, we had a lovely stay and I would recommend to others coming to the area! Thank you!

The owner and staff couldn?t be any more welcoming. Very friendly and helpful, going the extra mile to make sure everything was ok. The food was really good home made and tasty. The floorboards are a little creaky, but it?s completely what you would expect from a warm and homely, old, country B&B. I would definitely recommend for the atmosphere and friendly family feel. Thanks for a lovely welcoming stay.

Lovely welcoming comfortable hotel. Excellent food. Great location. Bed a little too firm for our liking and shower temperature but unpredictable. Would recommend for investigating Somerset and surrounding areas.

Went for a wedding at the Quantock lakes, if you?re not staying on site, this is a great place to be. The owner was so helpful and accommodating, he offered to drive us to the venue on the day of the wedding, make us a lovely breakfast too.
