Horrendously understaffed and the high street wonder why they?re closing down.
Purchased item at a premium to support and collect when passing.
Not the staff?s fault but they couldn?t leave front desk or post office to serve. What about radios?
Sort it out WHSmith

I am 30 Year old, tattooed bearded male, my wife and I have used WH Smith?s Bath and it?s incredibly understaffed post office frequently for over ten years.
I was just refused sale of a caffeine drink around 11:35 because I didn?t have ID despite cashier stating they knew I wasn?t under 16 ?but they still needed ID.? Very condescending behaviour and quite clearly just trying to be difficult.
Staff member was small blonde individual. Absolute jobsworth with no obvious ability to use their own intuition or discretion to do their job.

Sadly Bath's main Post Office has been put in this store on the 2nd floor. So if you want to go to the main post office then you have to go here.

Advertised open til 6.30
Arrived 4.45pm. Travel counter closed so queued arriving eventually at 5.03pm at main counter to be told travel counter closed at 5. Not true as it had closed already. Then told to be there between 4-5!for youth id post office card to be id checked. School is 8.45-3.46& impossible to get there before 4.30. Please advertise accurate hours as I took afternoon off work to achieve this. Frequent issues at this post office for all sorts of needs. Long queues& difficult processing not doing any favours for already blighted post office.

When I asked the first person working here for special delivery envelopes he simply replied "all we have is there" and when I showed the one product similar to what I wanted and explained to the 2nd person behind the counter he replied "this is exactly what you want" and I paid £15 for 5 envelopes and stamps to find out at the moment I was handing my documents in an office in London that those were not "special delivery envelopes" and needed to rush out to buy it before loose my turn. When I returned to complain about this misleading behaviour, surprisingly I just heard from the lady behind the counter that "I have started this week here I do not know abput last week!!!". No offer of refund and even an apology! £15 would not make me broke but surley ruined my day with the confusion. Set aside the sarcastic laughs of the employee with the costumer standing behind me since I was not British enough to understand all the posting rules and I was asking questions to make sure I have the correct envelope! No stars deserved for this place.

Stationery, newspapers, postage, cards, books etc. I would have liked a larger selection of books for young children and activity books for the same age (between 2 and 4 years old), hence the four star rating. Top accessibility with an elevator!

Really good shop for magazines and the post office is handy.

Great place for the daily papers. As a lot of convenience stores have stopped selling them. Typical WHS store. Providing the best value and service for stationary, books, calendars, etc.
