Terrible website, tried to amend a booking that the website had messed up then put through to a premium cost phone line. Booked me in for November instead of September. Will never use these again, premier inn is far better service. Loads of time wasted and more money lost. Travelodge is getting worse and I will never use them again. On phone for ages after, as they keep saying all the advisors are busy at the moment. Waste of time.

Good points are the location in the centre of Bath with easy access to the university and the breakfast was good for £10.75.
Bad points are: parking charges £9 for the night, room facilities - TV not working & missing bedding (duvet), restaurant food was poor, morning fire alarm got everyone up and outside at 7am.

Very good indeed. We had a ?super room?. I?d read some reviews about rooms being jaded but it seems a relatively modern hotel and our room was lovely, on a par with a Premier Inn but much better value. Couldn?t fault the accommodation. I?d also read about using a public car park which was a concern, but it?s right outside the Travelodge.
The amazing thing about this place though is its location, a pleasant 5 minute walk from the city centre and the train station. There are no big roads to cross, it?s a canal side walk to a footbridge which takes you right into the centre making this a great location for a mini-break. We?ll definitely be back and next time we?ll take the train to take full advantage of the location.

To be fair, it is a good location for Bath centre and train station. Clean and comfortable rooms. Reception was not too welcoming on arrival due to a luggage issue. PLEASE NOTE to anybody having their bags delivered by courier baggage service like we did (since we were walking the Cotswold Way.) The Reception refuses to accept your luggage if delivered by a luggage courier in your absence . We had just walked 102 miles over the previous week and arrived at the travelodge to find our baggage courier in dispute with reception since they had refused to accept our bags. It was only luck that we arrived when we did otherwise we would not have got our bags since the courier was on a busy schedule. We have stayed in about 30 different hotels and B&Bs across the UK using such a baggage service and have friends who have done a lot more than us , and NOWHERE has refused bags like this. Either this is travelodge policy or reception being a jobsworth or both, I don't know , but it is not very nice or at all welcoming.

Very average even for three star. Good location. Good views. Very minimal room facilities. . . . You get a bed and a chair and a towel. No hand towels, no hair dryer, no tissues.
Breakfast average. Uncooked bacon and tomatoes. Nice dining area.
All in all not good value for the money we paid.

I had a wonderful stay at this 3-star hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient for exploring the area. Great value for money ? I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant and affordable stay.

The room was fine . Booked on line £280 for 2 nights room only . Then looked and it was advertised at £170 . Naughty! Had our small dog with us and for the both nights never got much sleep as there were some people on the same corridor letting the door slam shut all night 3am was this morning. Would be good if the hotel had security on to stop these sort of people. Otherwise good location . Clean place .

Stayed here many many times. Location, parking and staff are great. Nice to see the same staff for a change. On our recent visit, everything was as expected. It was a Saturday and the bar doesn't open until 5pm !!!!
After a day out exploring and visiting friends we decide to have dinner there. Pizzas are ok, chips not so good. The vegetarian bangers and mash were ok, according to my wife. I had some spicy chicken wings, could have been spicier.

I booked this hotel for a family stay, but the experience was unacceptable. On arrival day, I was told only 20 minutes before arrival (at 10 p.m.) that the hotel had overbooked and we were being sent to another hotel 45 minutes away. This was after a four-hour journey with my 1-year-old child.
When we returned for the next two nights, the room was filthy ? trash under the beds, maggots from the bin on the table, and clearly not cleaned properly. Reception staff were unhelpful and told me to ?contact customer service.? I had to leave early because I could not stay another night in those conditions.
This hotel showed no duty of care, poor communication, and zero customer service. I cannot recommend it and strongly advise others to think twice before booking.
