My experience here was so wonderful, Beatrice really knows how to take care of her clients and to make them feel special.I came in because I had an eyelash lift (in Canada) that went horribly wrong. Beatrice was able to correct it for me, taking her time during the appointment, which gave amazing results!! And the lash serum she gave me is so gentle - I?m loving it so far.Highly recommend this place

Disappointing experience. Cold room and cold atmosphere. The treatment was advertised as 60 minutes - it was more like 45 minutes. I was late to be let in (had to wait outside in the cold) and was out of the door before the hour was up including all the changing, paying etc. Massage was good though despite other parts being not quite so good.

Absolutely shocking service. The woman who did my nails, the owner of the salon I believe, was not only rude and dismissive making me feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome, but the service itself was just awful.There was no care or attention involved, She split two of my cuticles to the point of pain and bleeding (I have now seen 2 other reviews stating the same thing) and I just wanted to get out of there. Please be careful bon here in who you have treat you!!! Appalling.Service: Manicure

I have only just recently discovered The Duchess Beauty Salon since moving to Bath and what a fantastic find!I have tried a couple of others in Bath and none have come close to the service and quality of care that Beatrice and has provided at the Duchess Beauty Salon on Walcot Street.Her knowledge and attention to detail is second to none. From the moment you enter you are made to feel welcome, safe and cared for, which has been consistent at every appt.I left my appt last night feeling pampered and with great shaped, defined eyebrows, just as I wanted and feeling rejuvenated with my new hot pink nails, which I absolutely love, thank you Beatrice?Services: Eyebrow threading

Do not go and get your nails done here.I went here with my partner and had a gel manicure by a younger lady whilst he had a pedicure by an older lady.The french manicure was sloppy - the white tips were unevenly applied and she also missed the edges of some nails. These were biosculpt nails and supposed to last three weeks - they have already chipped and i only had them done yesterday!! She clearly isn't a nail technician by choice - I get the impression this is something she just does alongside other treatments.I found her temperament rude and she couldn't wait to rush to finish my nails. I was booked in for 1.30pm and we weren't done until 3pm!! She had another client waiting since 2.15pm and was clearly disgruntled at having to do my nails. She didn't even use a table just sat infront of me and i had to put my hands on her lap.On the other hand, my partner was thrilled with his pedicure and his lady couldn't of been sweeter.Would not recommend for nails AT ALL.*Reply to owner*The owner seems to have adopted the tactic of claiming every negative review is false. I assure you I did visit this salon and my experience was not a good one.

Having booked a last minute Anti-Stress Massage with Beatrice, I was suitably impressed. As a credible Massage & Wellness Therapist myself, I am suitably discerning of my own treatments. This however far exceeded my expectations. The owner Beatrice applied rich mindfulness techniques along with excellent Massage Therapy for a deep healing Integrative treatment. Im so thrilled this exceeded expectations. As someone who puts her heart and all into giving an excellent Integrative & Holistic & Remedial Therapy work also, this was absolutely timely and powerfulWhat a a divine treat! I booked some last minute treatments for me and my wife as part of a weekend break in Bath. Beatrice at The Duchess was very friendly and accommodating and stayed open late to fit our treatments in. Both me (60 minute massage) and my wife (Bee Sting Facial) agreed that they were the best treatments of the kind we have had and that Beatrice?s personal touch and intuition make for a relaxing and fulfilling experience. Highly recommend.

I just wanted to say how amazing our facials where on Saturday. My fine lines around my eyes are significantly less and my skin looks ALOT better. Loved the experience.. especially the massage while the mask was on. It was dreamy ! As facial first timers it was a bit of an experiment but we will be definitely making it a regular trip to Bath now.

I booked an appointment for eyebrow threading and pedicure. Going there for first time. About the pedicure: half of nails just filed, some cuticles cut to the point of bleeding, others not cleaned at all. But the worst happened with the eyebrows: I asked for threading, my skin is sensitive and at the point I had a spot on the edge of the one eyebrow. The lady there tried to convince me to get waxing, fortunately I got the spot (!) so she didn't attempted waxing. She removed a couple of hair with the thread and the rest of them with the tweezers...Or this is what I thought until yesterday. The hair below the eyebrows are growing sharp and thick like they have been shaved. I have never shaved my eyebrows and definitely this is not the service I asked for. Of course I ll never go there again.Service: Pedicures
