The Apartment Company have been responsible for overseeing my move to a new flat in Bath. This includes securing and carrying out my viewing, setting up and helping me through my referencing process, and liaising with my new landlord about my application.
Nicola has been in charge of the admin, and Roxy showed me around the flat. I couldn't have asked for more from either of them.
Roxy was kind and welcoming, and knew every detail about the property I asked about. Within 10 minutes I was satisfied and able to leave the flat happy with all the knowledge I needed.
Nicola has been fantastic at supporting me through the referencing process. She is clearly very experienced and was able to help me solve every issue I faced in a timely manner. From start to finish I felt supported and like she wanted my reference to succeed as much as I did. I can't thank her enough for her help and reassurance.
If I ever need to move again, I can only hope to deal with The Apartment Company again because of how much they have helped me through this process. Highly recommend.

We had a one year tenancy at a flat in Widcombe. Flat was nice, close to the town centre with a great view. When we initially moved in the place had not been professionally cleaned, as had been agreed with the estate agent, and there were a lot of open wires in the lounge which we had be inventive to hide behind different appliances. Some appliances didn't work (Oven/Extractor fan etc) and it took some time to get them fixed. We never caused any issues as tenants, paid the rent on time every month and only troubled the estate agents once in the whole year, when the washing machine flooded. The flat was unfurnished so we spent quite a bit of money on a sofa/ desk/ bed frame/ wardrobe. We tried to negotiate with the landlord through the estate agents to sell these items to them at a reduced price (this way the landlord can also list the property as furnished). There was no flexibility on that unfortunately. When it came to moving out, the estate agents ended up taking over half of our deposit (£623) to cover cleaning fees - which is extortionately expensive and also unfair, since some of the reasons given eg. cleaning bathroom ceiling etc were to fix issues that occurred and should have been fixed before we even moved in. We tried to explain this to the estate agent, along with the fact that we had been good tenants, had spent a lot of time cleaning the property before moving out, and had not caused any issues at all during our tenancy, in order to get a reduction of these fees. I wouldn't mind paying some of the cost, but £623 is an extremely high amount just for cleaning (they even invoiced us £20 for the cleaning company's parking fees - even though there is free parking directly outside the property - why??). Overall, the attitude of the agent we were speaking to was disingenuous and intransigent, which was disappointing, since up until that point we had had good rapport with the various people we had communicated with. It is a pity I feel compelled to write this, because up until the moving out period we had a positive experience with this company, but the way we got ripped off with the cleaning bill at the end definitely soured things. If they had even just waived the ludicrous parking charge I would probably have let sleeping dogs lie, but unfortunately they didn't, so its a thumbs down from me.

Before signing the contract, the apartment company was friendly and prompt, but their attitude changed afterward. The attached photos demonstrate that hair and significant impurities emerged from the washing machine after moving in, yet the apartment company took no action. There was never even an apology. Moreover, even though I requested repairs, they did not take appropriate measures, so the bathroom faucet did not provide hot water for over 4 months. Additionally, one of the employees working at the apartment company lied to me as if they had cleaned the carpets through a cleaning company, even though they had never cleaned the carpets using a cleaning company. I asked her to apologise for this, but she ignored it. It may be a good real estate company for landlords, but it appears to be very harsh for tenants.
Since Apartment Company left a comment, I am partially updating my original post.
As stated in the comments below, the apartment company has provided incorrect answers. In this article, I detailed the condition of the dirty washing machine upon my move-in, the improper maintenance during my stay, and the behaviour a worker attempted to lie to me. However, as you can see below, Apartment Company has not responded to this at all. They try to change the topic by avoiding arguments that are against them. It's been like this most of the time. I'm so exhausted.
The deposit dispute with the apartment company has been finalised, and I'm adding the relevant details. TDS decided to pay me 75% of the amount of the dispute and only pay the remaining 25% to the landlord.

I've used the Apartment Company for nine years to rent our apartment in Bath and they have always found suitable tenants very quickly. There full managed service has always been excellent throughout the tenancy, and Nicola is exemplary. I would not hesitate to recommend them!

We've just reached the end of our 3rd year on Bathwick street and with the apartment company and we couldn't have been any happier and comfortable with our time. From day 1, Georgie and Nicola have looked after us and have made it very easy renting a property. They're very personable, respond quickly and always with a solution or a resolution to any issues there may be, whilst taking them seriously. Appliances were fixed quickly, or replaced if needed and safety checks and property visits were carried out with respect and fairly distributed. Two people who have taken the job seriously and who seem to actually care very much. It's helped us build a strong fond memory of this time. For the past five years The Apartment Company have been managing our properties in central Bath, and their service delivery cannot be faulted - their approach to detail, swift responses to queries, very clear paperwork (statements, agreements etc), carefully chosen tenants, property updates & inventories, close relationships with selected maintenance firms (plumbers, builders, electricians) and cleaners etc - and all coupled with the evident commitment of a small, cohesive, and efficient team of experienced property professionals who will offer advice & suggestions - have provided us as landlords with enormous confidence that our tenants will be well looked-after as well as our investment interests.
