Duncan?s communication was lacking in existence. We offered on a property and followed up with a counter offer only to not get a response until we chased up. A simple holding email or a ?thanks but no thanks? would have sufficed, I thought it was very rude not to get a response when putting in a offer on a house.

Simon was simply outstanding as my estate agent. The sale of a property can be a stressful experience but Simon's quiet reassurance, diplomacy and candour smoothed out the bumps which are part of the process and enabled the sale to a) stay on track and b) be completed. Others would have given up, but not Simon. He addressed challenges head on, answered my calls, responded promptly to emails and WhatsApp messages and demonstrated a remarkably patience (with me) throughout the entire process.I have worked with many estate agents over the years but Simon has been by far the best. Professional, honest, responsive and hard working. You cannot ask for more. I would use him again and highly recommend him to others.

Duncan and his team are like an extended family. They are incredibly experienced, patient and always supportive. They think outside of the box when there is any problems with our tenants and help to find a quick and effective solution. We just purchased a property through Stonier Hobbs and can't rate them highly enough.The total opposite of the stereotype estate agent. They were open, professional, and allowed you to explore the house without the running commentary of 'this is the kitchen' (only useful for those who have never seen one), yet knowledgeable of the property and area, able to provide all the insight needed.Post sale the team really came into their own pushing conveyancers and working on behalf of their clients and us as buyers to make sure everything ran as smoothly as it could. This was in stark contrast to the lack of support from an online colour based estate agent we foolishly sold with which left me robbed of alot of time and with a large phone bill.We can't thank Simon and the wider team at Stonier Hobbs enough for their professional yet understated and personalised service. We would recommend them to anyone.

I rented through stonier Hobbs for almost 4 years. They were fantastic! I was not from the area and any issues were resolved quickly and with great communication throughout. During my time renting I had an emergency on a bank holiday weekend and they were there to help quickly and helped arrange other accommodation short term without me having to worry myself. The biggest thing to note is that they really take care of tenants and not just the landlords and I would highly recommend using them.
