  Stunning! What stuck me most on my visit to this church was the friendliness of the villagers. Very helpful sharing information and facts (including the hidden tea room next to the school).The Church of England parish church of St John the Baptist dates from the early 13th century but was heavily restored in the 19th century. 13th-century.The tower has a one-handed clock.

  Beautiful church in Colerne.Popped into the village mainly as the was a water tower nearby, but I'm glad we did.Gorgeous area of the county, especially this church. There are commonwealth graves here, along with RAF graves.Highly recommend a visit to this church. Plus there are some great pubs in the village.5*
