Loads of staff in store and had an appointment but still had to wait half an hour for eye test. Prices deliberately complex. Frame selection quite dull

I'd like to recommend Specsavers Bath where I've had my last couple of routine eye checks and most recently a diagnostic test for symptoms I had on Saturday that turned out to be a posterial vitreous detachment. I got my appointment very easily that Sunday. I've always found it quick and easy to get appointments either by phone or booking via the website. Staff are great too.

Rushed eye test resulted in a bad prescription.
staff insisted I persevere for 5 days so my eyes can adjust, this caused a week of severe migraines and a trip to the hospital.
The staff at the bath branch refused to refund me suggesting a new exam? I declined.
The manager was young and took issue the complaint and lack of trust, which is nuts given they put me in A&E.
Seemed to enjoy sending me away unhappy, which I probably should have seen coming as you get a vibe of disinterest from allot of the staff.
I don't understand how you can get an eye test or the resulting customer service so wrong.
My first and last experience of Specsavers bath??

The optician and staff were super friendly even on such a busy day. I felt well looked after, they took the time to explain everything and were really warm and approachable.

I can see exactly why Specsavers is such a successful venture. If every branch in the country works to the same high standards of efficiency and friendliness of the Bath Specsavers in Westgate Street, they thoroughly deserve to be the leaders in their field.

I have recently received some prescription sunglasses from Specsavers. I am very pleased with them although they took a bit longer to arrive than expected.
I particularly wanted graduated lenses but my local (Trowbridge) Specsavers could not supply such a strange request !
Both Chippenham and Bath were happy to supply them - I chose Bath. Many thanks.
