I have now been trying to speak to someone at Santander for two days. I cannot obtain a phone number for the Bath branch (just a generic 0800 number with a massive wait time). The web chat facility is 100% useless - I'm locked out of my accout, so what is the point of telling me to log in to change security features? If it was possible to give a rating of less than 1 I would. No doubt to solve my problems I will need to drive to Bath, pay for parking, only to be told to make an appointment and repeat the whole process.

Went there before 10am today and the female staff who was sitting on the right was really kind and helpful. Nice and friendly atmosphere throughout. Thank you.

The young gentleman serving was really friendly and professional. He asked a female server to come out and help me at the desk. I wish he hadn't. She was incredibly rude. I was stunned by her demeanor. I've been with Santander since 1990 when it was Abbey National and usually get great service. I wish I said said something to her, but now I'll be going to my local branch at Wells, as they're all fantastic.

My partner and I were on a city break in Bath and required some banking assistance, we called at Santander and were dealt with quickly and professionally at the front desk by Richard. We left the bank feeling confident that the matter was being dealt with rather than exhausted as is so often the case with other Santander branches.

Short queue to use the desk service. While waiting a member of staff asked us what service we needed, and offered to assist at the information desk if we weren't able to use the main desk in the next minute or so. As it happened we didn't need it, but it was nice to be offered. The lady who dealt with us was also pleasant and helpful. Definitely better than our branch in London.
