'Front of house' Joe is the most helpful person in retail that I've ever encountered. (Unintentional pun). He showed outstanding patience dealing with me {Wed 20 December 2023), locating a sorting code and account number, printing two years of bank statements, enabling us to work out the best way forward for the company. I honestly can't thank him enough. OUTSTANDING SERVICE.

Unfortunately one part of bank is not trained to handle issues in another. I wouldn't even give this a star. Lloyds Bank personally phoned me to go to branch and remove an indicator from my account and update the address. I said to them no because they'll want me to call you up or go online, even though you're telling me to go to branch to do it. This has happened countless times before now, even with logged complaints from myself. I've done as they've asked, and guess what.. they want me to phone up or go online. The bank manager comes over and rudely starts speaking to me in a horrible tone of voice because of social distancing, even though I'm following the makers in branch, never a please, excuse me just "step back, that's close enough don't you think". He did this 3 times, even though I leaned forward to reiterate the address, didn't step forward just leaning and still aware of the social distancing policy.I've since logged another complaint with the advisors over the phone and they apologised for what happened 'again' in branch. Lloyds, how are you going backwards? Your call centres are more helpful than face to face interaction... I advise your bonuses to be spent on customer relation courses and this be mandatory for all branches.

I have found difficult to say anything good about banks...however the dreadful greedy excessive behavior of the executives of banks is not reflected in the ordinary people who work in the branch..and i received an Excellent service just as a bank should be...Clare Hassan particularly was a credit to the bank...why cant other banks be like this

Mixed service on the counter. One person helped in understanding how to close and manage various accounts for moving abroad whilst another person turned his nose up at the simple request to have change counted and deposited in an account. Imagine, asking someone to count and deposit money into a bank account?!! I wouldn't have thought it was such a strange request.
