Well actually i'd put the review between 3 and 4, but hey I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. OK so checking in my card was authorised by twice what it should have been due to human error (or actually what it finally did become). (ROOM 304). Was told before this happened we were being moved to a complimentary superior room which was good. I made sure i didn't spend anything extra (drinks or meals) as a consequence of the earlier mistake. On arrival to the room discovered the TV didn't work and when it was fixed it still had an intermittent problem. On the positive Erin tried desperately to make us happy (bless her). Breakfast was good but some of the rooms were incredibly over populated which felt a tad claustrophobic. Would I return? I think so...

Excellent location, friendly staff and stunning decor, this is definitely a boutique hotel worth visiting if in bath the architecture is outstanding especially if located in a garden room however the one thing that let this experience down was finding a large stone in my breakfast chewing into a stone and breaking a tooth is never pleasant avoid the breakfast appreciate the beauty of the hotel and friendly staff

Very cool hotel. Staff greeted us warmly and professionally. Room wasn?t ready but the took our bags and had them waiting in our room. Decor is funky and eclectic. Room is somewhat small but very comfortable. Not much room to layout two suitcase?s. Love the style of it though!

The hotel is totally charming. Good location with parking very close. We were in the garden rooms which were newer and expertly designed. Very quiet and exceptionally comfortable. Comfortable size for the room with minibar and hot beverage facilities. Very comfortable bed. Best rooms of our 9 day stay. Lovely garden area to enjoy a drink just outside the rooms.

We stayed for 2 nights early September and as soon as we walked into reception and we was greeted we noticed that this place is something different. around every corner and on every wall something to see and just a little bit of class. The room was perfect in size and with everything you need, the bathroom was above luxury even thou we had a little trouble with the shower which I dont need to go into as the team sorted it and again went over and above to make sure our stay was perfect. I can not thank all the staff enough for a lovely stay and will only ever be staying here from now on . Thank you !

Very warm welcome at reception and even shown to room. Although given the "rabbit warren" lay out, this was welcome! Hotel runs through several buildings and levels, so its not easy to find your room. Room was a little small, but away from main road so v quiet. Fridge with a few goodies always welcome Breakfast a little chaotic as several tables in quite a small area. But food was fresh

Great stay as room very clean, well appointed with Air Con and Fridge. Staff were very friendly and efficient and nothing a problem. We would strongly recommend as we very much enjoyed our two day stay there. Not sure why they want a UK 100 pound security to them on arrival/check in and this request by them appears to one that they do not trust you that a full settlement will be made when leaving. Ummmmmmmm. Not a major but most unusual.

Stayed here during the recent BH weekend for one night. Due to tarffic we arrived in Bath around 14:30 hrs and trying to park was a nightmare. After about an hour we eventually sited our car near the cricket ground. ( we appreciate that the hotel has no control over local parking matters.) As it was my birthday, we were upgraded and found ourselves in one of the small exterior rooms, located under the front pavement with only one small window. If our stay was for more than one night we would have most certainly asked to be relocated, as some would possibly feel chlostraphobic, although the bathroom was fabulous and the coffe / tea facilities were also very good. We had breakfast prior to our departure and although what we had was good, the service could be improved, for example when shown to our table, there was no explanation of what was available and where, only ?tea or coffee?? Also very surprisingly the full english breakfast only came with scrambled eggs, that?s a first. Admittedly, the hotel seemed very busy and the staff were kept on their toes, with some guests getting incorrect orders. Do we recommend this hotel, yes and we would definitely return, ( to a different room).

I have hosted meetings at Inigo several times, and have always been impressed by the facilities and helpful staff.

Exceptional hotel - the IHG Indigo brand is rapidly becoming my favourite in the group. The warmest of welcomes in the lobby, followed by excellent customer service. Very relieved to find there are two lifts - I feared the historic, listed status of the building would mean there were none. A well appointed spacious room with everything one could wish. Overall I highly recommend this hotel.

We haven?t visited Bath before so wanted a decent hotel , close enough to walk to most attractions but with a little luxury. Hotel Indigo fitted the bill. The hotel is located very close the the main tourist and shopping area - just a couple of minutes walk - yet it?s relatively quiet. The building is a conversion of several adjoining Georgian houses, so there?s plenty of period character. The rooms are nicely furnished and refurbished. There are some newish build garden rooms in the courtyard too if you fancy something a little more modern. The location is great for walking and easy enough to drive to. Be aware, the hotel is on a street with metered parking and it?s usually full. Pulling up to offload can be awkward. There?s a large public car park opposite. You could park first or use valet parking (as we did). Also note that Bath is a ULEZ area. There?s no fee - as long as your car meets to standard (looks like most do). You can check online before you go. Nice touch, there was a complimentary mini bar including wine/beer. Good TV too which supported ?casting?. On the downside, there was minimal wardrobe space. The old building?s layout didn?t really accommodate this but be aware. Staff were excellent throughout. We didn?t use the bar/restaurant as there are so many others nearby. It was quiet in the evenings anyway (actually, Barh is v busy during the day but quiet at night even on weekends). A good stay. Great location.

We have visited this hotel many times. We last stayed March 2023 and on that occasion, I have to admit that I was disappointed with the cleanliness of our room. We decided to give the hotel another try as we previously have had good experiences. So glad we did! Everything was perfect . Our room was beautifully appointed, spacious, quirky, and spotlessly clean. The staff at reception were as professional, helpful and attentive as on previous visits. Breakfast was very tasty, good quality and the servers were excellent. All staff we encountered were fabulous and so cheerful. They are all a great asset to the hotel. We very much enjoyed our stay and hope to return very soon.

We try to stay in Kimpton properties whenever possible. Our stay at the Indigo Bath was enjoyable however you should be aware that the rooms and bath are extremely small. The location was perfect for touring Bath. We dined one evening at The Elder and our meal was excellent. We especially enjoyed our server. She was the best! Would stay here again.
