Something about the touristy-ness of Bath makes all the major coffee chains seem more like inner London ones (not a good thing). However, this Costa is fine really.

Pastries had flies crawling on them and were still there over 30mins after we told them..manager on duty even said I was the 2nd person to tell her that and that she would bin them (but didnt).
Toilet upstairs was absolutely disgusting and attitude towards it was "ill have to find someone to clean it"
It wasn't busy, they obviously don't care for hygiene at all based on other comments here.
I've reported to Environmental Health as they served one of the pastries when I was still in the queue and this would have been after someone else had already told them about the issue!
I hope that person doesn't get sick!!

Absolutely wrong, flies on food after telling staff she replied notjhing i can do and carry on selling food to customers knowing flies are on the food laying eggs, onto of that down stairs toilets are locked and only available toilet was a disabled toilet that had urine all over the floor and used toilet roll everywhere with skid marks all up the pan, I let the staff girl no again she said the same nothing I can do I'm not the manager, I saw a female come out tje toilet feeling sick, DO NOT go to this costa it needs to be shut down I have reported it to the environmental and to costa head office. It's not fit for animals let alone humans

Must say, the worst Costa I've b.en in I'm sorry to say. Plus, upstairs toilet was awful with no toilet roll.

Ordered a flat white but was told no small cups were available so the drink was made in a medium cup and filled to the brim rather than just half filling it resulting in a milky disaster. Staff were rushed off their feet with a massive queue so no point even trying to get it changed.

The worse costa I've been all tables available were with dirty cups and dishes, so because they didn't washing up, they serving coffees on takeaway cups, anyway way you are having in. They were 4 staff in the counter not any care to tidy up. Definitely I'm not coming back here not recomended this one.

Horrifically cramped and anxiety inducing cafe with some of the worst toilets I've seen in any eatery. How this place is open is a real surprise.

I was in costa today and I couldn't believe how dirty the shop was I went in in the morning about 10 am . There was pasta under our table . Rubbish on the floor . The whole shop was dirty. The bin behind the counter had coffe marks on it . Coffe stains and milk stains on the floor and on the machines. I wish I had seen this before I ordered. I hope this gets sorted as they could get shut down . Never going in there again.

Interesting and very weird experience ever - I was buying coffee with a friend today. My friend ordered first and I waited at the till after she finished. But the staff afterwards asked the order from the customer after me. I told her I haven?t ordered yet, she didn?t even say sorry but felt surprised and said ?oh I thought you were together with your friend?. I stayed and stood at the till to wait for placing my order while my friend already moved aside to wait for the coffee. I doubted why she could make such assumption, it?s like I was the rude one to keep staying at the till waiting for placing the order. Very strange experience, never had that ever in my life. Not very pleasant and I don?t know why ?my friend with me together? will lead to a situation that I can?t place separate order for myself.
