The store is ok when buying but if selling something i find the prices to be short as they sale the sold items on for almost double what they buy for. Take for example a laptop unused and still in packaging worth £349 they only give £97 with is less than they should pay out for it. I would have expected to recieve £140-150 minimum.

I've been to Bath CeX multiple times. Good, knowledgeable, friendly service every time. Easy recommendation!Get this -- even knowing those stairs are _there_, I only tried going up them more recently! O_o ...Flippin TREASURE TROVE of media upstairs I'd been missing all this time!!! D'oh!! As much as we can stream any damn thing these days, sometimes it's nice to have a DVD or CD -- if you've got kids and a long drive, a portable DVD player and a kiddie film are a god-send! And CDs if you like em, for the car. (..if it's not too new and still has a CD player!) :P

Good place for do shopping, the prices are low and there are a lot of games old and new but they don't want to sell 18age games at people of 17 or 16...

bro there was no good DS games its like the only reason I go there and they were mixed up with 3DS games as well - Edit responding to response, I actually did enjoy my time in the store as the people seemed nice and it was layed out well. I tend to visit second hand game stores for good value ds games but I wrote this review sort of in a joking manner not expecting anyone to really see it. Overall your shop is cool, keep doing what you're doing ?

I went in today to sell some things to declutter before moving. The consultant that helped was so rude. It has made me not want to come into your store again. I understand it might have been a long day but that is not my fault and there is no excuse for this to be taken out on me.

Checked the online stock checker to see if they had x 2 items I was searching for ? it said they did. Got there before it opened and the online stock checker still said items were available. Store opens over 10minutes late, no apologies from staff. Ask where the items are, made to stand around for 30mins to then be told ?oh what?s probably happened is the label was probably a reprint and they?ve been sold?. Waste of a morning to be honest as we only went to Bath based on the stock checker and we were the first in the store so could not have been sold already that morning.

I would definitely not recommend cex I brought an iPhone 13 from there on the 5th November I used it for a few days but it stopped working so took it back in yesterday 12th November & they did a check on it & it turns out it was stolen goods but refused to give me my money back as they we?re basically saying that it wasn?t the phone I brought there cause the iemi number on the receipt didn?t match the iemi number on the phone the woman who sold me the phone was in the shop & admitted that she put the wrong number in but still refused 2 give me my money back the other bloke who looked scruffy was very rude & told me that I wasn?t getting a refund absolutely disgusting behaviour they should be shut down & not allowed to trade any more I also had receipt I have really bad anxiety 2day because of the way I was treated I?m the innocent person in this & shouldn?t be made 2 feel that I?m the bad 1

Good stock, decent shop, but I've bought two games from them that wouldn't run in my playstation. They're happy to exchange or refund, but suggests they don't test the discs much which is annoying

I have had a terrible customer experience with incredible bad attitude of staff.I bought an iPad on line which was dispatched on 17/01/22. I paid £510. I thought I had bought an iPad that could take a SIM card and when I bought a SIM card today I found out that the iPad is only Wi-Fi enabled. The reason I did not check the SIM card position earlier is that I had surgery in January and I am only recently back on my feet.I went into the Bath store today and asked if I could sort this out by exchanging for the correct iPad. I offered to pay a reasonable amount such as the difference between what CEX would sell my current iPad for and the cost of the new iPad.I was told that all CEX could do would be to offer me £200 as the trade in value for the iPad. I queried why the iPad had so significant,y dropped in value and was told this was the profit CEX wanted to make. I explained that I did not think this was reasonable given I have only had the iPad for a few months and that to lose over £300 for a simple mistake seemed unfair to me. IThe girl who served me seemed to find it amusing I had made a mistake and said there was nothing they could do to help me. Being smirked at by her was not great and really unprofessional of her and it was demeaning.I then asked to speak to the manager. The manager was behind the counter and had heard the previous conversation. He got aggressive and said there was nothing they could do to help. I asked for details of who I could contact in customer services to seek to sort this out and he refused to give me:- any details of how to complain- his name- The name of his bossHe claimed he could not do this for data protection reasons. I know this response is incorrect and he was clearly being deliberately unhelpful. As I left the store visibly upset by how I had been treated, he shouted after me ? have a good day? in a sneering voice in front of other customers. I then burst into tears and said that it was completely unprofessional and wrong to treat a customer in this way. This was a was a completely unnecessarily humiliating and demeaning experience for a customer
