Not always the cleanest but the staff are nice, service is quick and the upstairs area is lovely ! Lovely atmosphere, I like studying here.
Wheelchair accessibility: Not particularly wheelchair friendly as the tables are quite crammed in.

Coffee good. Ambience less so. I?m sat listening to two lots of music. One from the café Nero system. Another from the staff playing their own. One suitable the other head banging. Oh dear. Used to be good.

The staff in this branch are incredibly kind and thoughtful. They were really accommodating to me working and offered to help me get settled. The loveliest interactions. Definitely coming again ??

Cafe Nero opposite the Guildhall Bath.
This place was run down and needed TLC. One of the oldest coffee shops in Bath and I have visited many times due to its very convenient location. There are almost 100 coffee shops in Bath, but for some reason, I always pop in there just to get a take-out! Few times to catch up with friends. Everything was pretty much standard and I wished to get friendly service there, but it didn't seem to happen there!

Staff was friendly. Place was FILTHY: dirty mugs, tables not wiped, sofa chairs dirty and covered in food residues, floors with HOLES!
Today they served me on take away cups and I had to eat my cake out of a bag... on a table that wasn't clean.
When I asked for a plate they said no.
My tiramisù latte didn't have the syrup in or the savoiardo that should come with it. Didn't even asked me if I wanted the cream on top.
End of.

After a very pleasant day in Bath(Sunday the 20th) went to Nero for coffees and cakes with my daughter. Ordered all and politely asked if I could have my coffee on a "mug" (not on the paper cup )as it should be served!! The very unpleasant girl called Milly refused (saying the dishwasher was broken) even though a pile of mugs and cups where clean and ready on the top the machine. My point is, come on!(not hard to rinse 2 cups on the sink is it afterwards). Although I just went next door (Society cafe) and was absolutely fab. Don't waste your time at Nero.

Shocking customer service. Table were grubby. Floors were full of food. Flies all on cups on tables. Staff have no interest what so ever other than dancing and having loud conversations with themselves. Metis should look into what?s going on. We are paying customers and expect better.

Bought pre-made food which was fine. Place seemed shabby and unkempt. Staff were rude to the point of being actively hostile. Used to come here lots, most likely will never go back. Whoever runs it doesn't care and it shows. Lots of much better places in Bath.
