Lovely and hard working staff, much better now under the new management. Lovely bunch of new people working here, not so loud as before. I can enjoy my coffee in peace.

This morning, for the first time, I decided to try breakfast at Caffè Nero in the centre of Bath.
I specifically went there to try the famous maritozzo and the much-advertised and highly praised pistachio latte, driving about 20 minutes and involving my partner in the experience. I want to emphasize that I rarely write reviews, but in this case, it is absolutely necessary.
After spending more than 20 minutes at the counter to receive my order?one hot pistachio latte, one hot tea, two maritozzi, and a sandwich with mozzarella and salami?I was served by a Chinese/Filipino-looking guy who barely understood the language and was clearly struggling. His colleague, despite not being busy, completely ignored the situation.
He heated the sandwich for a full five minutes without even asking me, and needless to say, the result was inedible?what was supposed to be salami turned into something toxic! The pistachio latte was actually a vanilla-flavored milk with no trace of pistachio taste whatsoever. The hot tea, or rather the boiling water used for it, had a disgusting taste?I can?t say whether it was due to the dirt in the cup or the kettle itself.
The two maritozzi were absolutely hard, probably stale.
Before leaving the place in a hurry, I used the restroom, which is located upstairs. The level of filth, lack of hygiene, and the awful smell were simply disgusting?I have no words to describe how revolting it was. I refused to use it and was forced to pay an extra charge to eat inside rather than take away, despite the fact that basic sanitary conditions were not met.
The dirt behind the counter, where drinks are prepared and food is plated, is truly shameful. Both my partner and I now have severe stomach pains, as if we had suffered some form of food poisoning.
I genuinely believe that £20.80?especially considering that I didn?t even receive my change and had to beg for a receipt?is an absolute scam. The management should urgently intervene, and honestly, I feel completely ripped off!
I will never spend another penny in your establishments?SHAME ON YOU!

Miserable and rude staff. Even worse than the other caffe nero a few meters away. Pathetic. Mid coffee at best. Greeted with « what you want ». Not even a « hello! ».

Nero makes the best coffee out of all the major coffee chains only gripe is the sofas etc need replaced as they have lost cushioning.

Not the best Caffè Nero that I?ve been in, but the service was fine, albeit a bit on the slow side. There appeared to be just two staff working, so probably overstretched. The real issue was all of the dirty mugs, plates, etc. littering the tables which customers were having to shuffle from table to table to find a seat. Shout out to the inconsiderate woman that came in with the elderly gentlemen who thought it was considerate just to pile everything from their table on the adjoining table attached to ours (learn some manners!)

Ignored by staff busying themselves with admin for several minutes in an otherwise empty café. Perhaps pricing pastries could wait until customers are acknowledged ? let alone served. Walked out empty-handed.

I came in to wait as over an hour early for my train: The coffee is good and the atmosphere pleasant, but what really makes my day is the dairy free raspberry croissants - which are delicious and the chap who served me (Sean) who was friendly and welcoming - we had a great chat about the croissants whilst he got my order ready. Thank you.

Service is awful, I was served by dark hair lady who I think may be the manager, and she is so miserable barely speaks to you and never smiles. Kristina who has now left this Nero's use to be absolutely amazing, so attentive, so friendly and such a hard worker. Such a shame she's not there anymore. Awful awful service and management now. I don't even want to give it a one star.

Really rude manager really
Doesn?t let to chill people in their own right even in a cafe , I?m not suprised why she is a cafe Manager ?
She had meeting with her upper manager in actual cafe itself we saw them sitting together and he wasn?t really happy about how she does her job , we now clearly understand why, people like her shouldn?t be in position as a manager , she has lack of leadership skills , her English was poor to say the least and she had no skills for approaching a customer at all after they been served and was just chilling having their coffee when she wanted customer to stop doing what he/she was doing.

Management should consider another manager for this lovely cafe Nero ?
She clearly got herself scolded by upper management and decided to lash out on a customer.
If she is still working there please do not visit on a day after long shift because she might will ask you out .

Never opens on time especially this last week I been 3 times to pick a coffee and once I was told off at 7am as they have to take tables out first. I get that even though young lady was rude. But then following 2 days especially today at 7:08 and still people were not allowed in.
and still have to wait . Make your minds up
You start serving at 7am or you start setting up and we have to watch you?
Used to go in on my way to work never again
