Opening times are incorrect. This needs to be updated. I wasted a lunch break driving to Batheaston, only to find it closes for an hour at lunch. What sort of business closes at lunch in this day and age? Lunchtime is when half the country do errands.

I was feeling really quite unwell but as I live alone, I needed to go to the pharmacy to pick up a prescription kindly emailed to Boots Kings Road Pharmacy by my GP at 11.30am in the morning. At 2pm I walked in to Boots to pick up my prescription only to be told that they were closing until 3.00pm and that they hadn?t received my prescription - despite me having been given a tracking number by my GP practice. Whilst I was waiting, the return time was changed to 3.15pm and then again to 3.30pm so, in the end, I needed to wait for 1.5hrs. We all understand that pharmacies are busy and that everyone deserves/needs to take a break during the day but as an ex-HCP I can?t remember ever having taken 1.5 hrs for lunch.

Never answer the phone and even more annoying close earlier than they state on the opening times.

Despite the Boots website stating that this pharmacy is open from 9am - 6pm, they actually close for lunch between 1 and 2pm. I arrived at 1.30pm so waited patiently and was the first in the shop when it opened at 2pm. Despite that, I had to wait a further 30 minutes for the pharmacist to finish her 'consultation' which I assume was her talking to another colleague as there were no other customers in front of me when I arrived.

Incredibly friendly, helpful and professional staff. Work really well and efficiently in conjunction with the local GP's + their online medication portal. Open until 6 too, which is useful if need to fetch items on way home from work.
